GOVERNOR ROCHAS GRANTS WAIVERS FOR RECRUITMENT OF 1,000 TEACHERS FROM OHAJI/EGBEMA & OGUTA The Imo State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha has granted waivers for immediate recruitment of qualified teachers from the two oil producing local government areas of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta. The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Gertrude Odukah who disclosed this in an interaction with newsmen recently, stated that this gesture was integral part of the Amnesty Program of the State Government aimed at bettering the lots of the people in those areas.
