I've endlessly heard such referencing as Japanese, German and American cars. But I've wondered what brands fall into these categories and what comparative advantages they have over each other.

Please share your knowledge and insight on this.

Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda. They are known for simplicity, fuel economy and reliability.

German cars
Volkswagen, Mercedez Benz and Audi. They are known for beauty. elegance, reliability, power and luxury.

American cars
Ford, Chrysler, General Motors. They are known for wastage of fuel, big for nothing and American oversabi. Ford has changed their ways sha. Tesla is an American manufacturer that makes futuristic cars

Japanese cars- Popularity, reliable , efficient [Hyundai Nissan]

German cars- Durability, strong , fast , efficient [BMW Audi]

American cars- Exotic, high class, large size and majorly SUVs [Chevrolet Ford]

Japanese cars - Economical e.g Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and Mitsubishi


German cars - Durability e.g Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW, Volkswagen.


American Cars - Flashy e.g chevrolet, Ford, Cardilac, Lincoln.

I prefer German cars. Heavy, strong, speedy and rugged built.

Well, I've always been biased to the left. For me, na French brands (Citroen, Peugeot) and now Nigerian Innoson . But if I have to make a choice from the thread, I'd say Japanese Toyota is the go-with brand. Acceptability, Classy, Durability, Economy
