Have you ever noticed this, during discussion with another person, while in the mood of discussion, if the person hiss, you tend to hiss back, is this behavior/attitude learnt or it's natural, does hisses in a conversation means insult? Why is it that when two people are discussing the first person hisses, the other person tends to hiss too, like returning it, am a yoruba guy, is like saying to the other person, oshey ni tie o. The thing is very common in this recession period.

In Jamaican Creole or patois it is called KISS TEETH and it's used when showing dissatisfaction, irritation or annoyance.
