The {0} and {1} represent the first and second argument in .format("abra", "cad"). So it prints abracadabra. Lolz

It will output an error, since there are only two values in the the tuple.
Rather use
print ("{0}{1}{2}".format("Abra", "cad", "abra "))

It won't output error.
The argument's indices can be repeated

I just typed it in the python IDLE and
"IndexError: tuple index out of range" is what I got

I don't think the versions matter, its just few changes and supported modules.
But you can start with python 3, as much of the tutorial you would get might be based on that.
