University of Wollongong in Dubai Scholarships for Nigerians

Eligibility: Students from Nigeria will have to maintain a minimum of 5As or 4As to be awarded the University of Wollongong in Dubai Scholarships.

In order to retain this Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

Enrol in a minimum of 3 subjects (mandatory) in Autumn and Spring
Maintain a WAM of ≥75 at the end of each semester
Receive no “Fail” (F or TF) grades

The University of Glasgow is offering 20 International Leadership Scholarships for September 2017 intake. These scholarships are available to international (non-EU) students starting a postgraduate taught master’s programme in any discipline.

The Eiffel Excellence has been provided for masters and Ph.D students wishing to further their studies.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme Master’s branch, which funds master’s courses lasting between 12 and 36 months while the PhD branch offers funding for PhD students to spend ten months in France, through joint supervision or dual enrolment (preferably in the second year of their PhD).

Eiffel scholarships are available in three main fields:

engineering science at master’s level, science in the broadest sense at PhD level
economics and management
law and political sciences

The scholarship is awarded for between 12 and 36 months depending on the level of degree for the Master’s branch.

The PhD branch lasts for a maximum of 10 months.

The Eiffel scholarship for the Masters branch includes a monthly allowance of €1,181 . In addition, one international return journey, social security cover, cultural activities are covered. Scholarship holders may also receive an additional housing allowance, under certain conditions.

At the PhD level, the Eiffel scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €1,400. In addition, one international return journey, social security cover, cultural activities are covered.

The University of Geneva and the United Nations University share a strong commitment to enhancing the capacity of individuals and institutions in developing countries.

Eligibility:

Scholarships are based on a combination of academic merit, financial need, and availability of funds.
These scholarships are reserved for nationals of developing countries and are only given to first round applicants (by the 15 November deadline).

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters and PhD Scholarships for Study in Europe


Eligibility: Erasmus Mundus Joint Programme defines its own selection criteria and admission procedures. Students or scholars should contact the Consortium offering the Masters /Doctoral Programmes for more information.

The programme offers full-time scholarships and/or fellowships that cover monthly allowance, participation costs, travelling and insurance costs of the students. Scholarship amounts can vary according to the level of studies, the duration of studies, and the scholar’s nationality (scholarships for non-EU students are higher than for EU students).

You are advised to consult in advance the websites of each of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes that interest you. There you will find all necessary information concerning the content of the course, its structure, the scholarship amounts as well as the application and selection procedures. Deadline varies depending on the programme but falls around December to January.
