^^^I had to calm some people down (when they saw some names, they wanted to un-nominate themselves). I will soon get time for this thread, I am 'migrating' a HUGE WEBSITE with like 100k users and database in several GIGABYTES from one platform/technology to the other. Been working round the clock to achieve this.

Programmers should be about productivity and not popularity. I implore the op, dhtml18, to change this whole contest to one that's built around productivity . . . Let's do simple apps that influences us possitively or lets re-theme Nairaland or CBN (A GOVT SITE) in a contest.

Detractors have entered this thread, nay, the thread remains as it is. I respect you a lot Sibrah, but this thread shall stand. I shall soon finish work and have time to run the competition.

After taking my time to browse through the Nairaland profile of the nominees, I must say i am disappointed. Most of them don't have external websites or links to profile that samples their project screenshot or demo. I implore all nominees to get their linked profiles up and running.

You have a link but there is something I didn't like about tytit.com. It asked me to sign up at the first page. I expected it to sample some contents in order to show me what the site is all about then, take me to sign up page when I try to access its most important features. I didn't sign up and so never got to see how good and organised the site looks inside. The landing page/sign up form looks neat though.
For example, I saw Feyimora's site and few other ones(solomonubani..com.ng, syconlabs.com, emmach10's site, okeowoaderemi.com). I was impressed with them.

and others that I built for companies that I can't really mention.
