Or it could be that the indigenous government refused to plan properly and make satisfactory preparations for the growing Lagos population. A similar thing has happened with other major Nigerian cities. Smh, instead of you to blame bad governance, you're here, blaming other ethnic groups for this situation. This is why Nigeria has never reached the standard it ought to be now.

Lagos state government current plan is to de-congest lagos island and mainland by diverting the traffic to ikorodu and epe axis which will speed up development around there.
Once the fourth mainland bridge is completed.
People will start moving their to settle down
