Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has been shortlistedfor Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the African Footballer of the Year 2016. Having captain the Nigerian Super Eagles to win Bronze medal at Olympic 2016 in Rio. The award was last won by Borrusia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
