Hi guys. Just bought a ps4 ,sold my old one in January , been trying to log in to psn with my account but it keeps on displaying this message error WS - 37 397-9 ... Tried looking online but I'm stomped ...any ideas aroubd this can't access the PlayStation store ... I'm using mtn mobile hotspot ... I'd appreciate any tips . Thanks

Thanks man , from what I understand ,it means my IP has been banned by Sony , that's mtn .. apparently I'm not the only one with this issue ,ive been trying all the other remedies provided on the net but to no avail ...I'm just stuck to using user 1 , thank God I didn't buy Fifa 17 ,got uncharted 4 ,so at least I'm not entirely frustrated tonite

That won't work ,tried it already ,even if it does wnt last long .

Changed to etisalat used a different phone for hotspot it worked signed into psn , but couldnt access the store ...apparently etisalat is weak in my area ... Any luck guys ??!!

No. . . my guy has it , so got uncharted instead ,will buy it later ..

It's an IP ish. I've never been able to connect using Glo. Always get that error. Airtel and Etisalat work really well for me. Haven't tried MTN though

Hey people. This is happening right now to me. From my understanding it's your isp fault. For those using their hot-spot (Mtn),if u check the connected devices u find that it doesn't register as Ps4 or the name u gave ur console, u just see connected device. Now Sony servers will think it's a hack on their servers when u try to sign in. So I think the solution is to forget the network on both the Ps4 and your device or try another network.

I changed my Mtn access point settings and it's working fine now

U remember the setting. Please share

for anyone having this problem, use airtel or etisalat. MTN is probably blacklisted or something with psn.
