According to a Facebook user, Na-Allah Mohammed Zagga, who posted the photo today, October 21, the man pictured from Warra, Kebbi, reportedly collapsed in reaction to the slashing of his salary from N18, 000 to five thousand Naira by the Ngaski Local Government Council of Kebbi State. He wrote:

Look at what our so-called democracy has done to him! The man in this picture was trying to pull himself together after he collapsed in reaction to the slashing of his salary from N18,000 to five thousand naira by the Ngaski Local Government Council of Kebbi State. The poor Nigerians are the guinea pigs of economic sacrifices brought on by the recession. Why are the so-called elected leaders not making substantial and significant sacrifices to reflect our economic realities?

Cutting of workers salary is wickedness, governors receive security votes of 100-400 million each apart from their salary and they are doing multi-billions naira unuseful projects just to make them enrich their personal pocket. They did not stop the projects because of their selfish interest, they emback on cutting salary of workers, take osun state the originator of salary cutting as an example: a man receiving #30,000 before receiving #15,000 now. How can a man with wife and four children spend #15,000 in a month

If they taunt this one to join BH, he won't waste time at all... This isn't right...things are getting more expensive while salaries are being slashed...how logical is this? This country is already dead, she's in her decaying state

u well so? When ur great grand pa appointed a middle level salesgirl as minister of finance, u didn't know this will happen?

I was expecting a reprisal but this is harsh. By tribalizing it, you bring your self to his low standard. The present harsh realities are actually the fault of Buhari and Emefiele. Adeosun anyway is not fit for the post.
