The director of marriage and family life consultants Gary Chapman is the Author of number one new York times bestseller 'The 5 Love Languages'..According to him, these are things you would wish you knew before you got married which is also a title of another of his book. 

The romantic love has two stages. The first stage requires little effort which is called being in love. The average life span of this initial stage of romantic love is two years. After which the emotions fade off and the second stage has to set in else the breakup happens.

To achieve the second stage of the romantic love, find out how your partner would want to be loved. You need to know the five love languages and express your love effectively.

Below are the Five Love Languages.

1: Words Of Affirmation

This love language uses words to affirm the other person. Telling the person: 'I really appreciate your washing the car', 'You look great', 'Thanks for taking out the garbage', 'I love you the way you are', 'You look nice in that outfit' etc. 

If a person's primary love language is words of affirmation, your words will be like rain falling on dry soil. Nothing will speak more deeply of your love than words of affirmation .

2: Acts Of Service

Acts of service is the key to loving this person. Find out what things they would like for you to do, then do them consistently. E.g, Helping them around the house. 

To them, action speaks louder than words. You can help them Cook, clean the car, paint the house,etc. When you tell this person you love them, they might reply ' if you love me then help me do this or that'. Please take note and do them.
