Is it not common sense that DSS should present their evidence against those Judges to the NJC before asking them to step aside? You can't accuse someone just like that without presenting evidence and expect the person to step down to be. Meanwhile, how about Amaechi and co? When are they going to step aside to be investigated? 85 Likes 11 Shares |

Buhari should equally step aside for investigation of his certificate issue. Likewise all those in the executive with issues! 68 Likes 10 Shares |

It is morally wrong for a judge facing trial on corruption charges to continue his duties as a judge. 11 Likes |

It just irritates my bowels whenever I see NJC crap everywhere. Since when did NJC become a "court" in this land, and why have some people become such die hard proponents of this body?? Were these not these same people excited about the reluctance of President Jonathan to reinstate Justice Ayo Isa Salami as the president of Court of Appeal when he was cleared of any wrongdoing and recommended by the NJC to be reinstated?? Imagine their comments back then when the gentleman became frustrated he had to tender his letter of intent to resign after two years of innaction by the then president Goodluck Jonathan: GEJTILL2019: Longeria:... and a whole lot of such other comments. To make matters even worse, he was suspended for blowing the whistle on Justice Katsina-Alu, the then CJN and these guys saw absolutely nothing wrong with it since we were in the era when corruption was the Lingua franca in our society. Today, NJC has suddenly become Bae (apologies to Modath). What a laughable bunch. 39 Likes 6 Shares |

michelz:You're wrong sir. Read the reasons DSS is reluctant to give such evidences. Pay attention to the highlighted part. Don't you think there is sense in what the DSS is saying? It was gathered that the DSS refused to release evidence against the embattled judges to the NJC in order not to lay all the cards on the table before their trial. 20 Likes 1 Share |

This country must be run through the rule of law else we are all finished. The Nigerian Constitution empowered National Judicial Council to suspend judges from the position so that they are prosecuted. You don't suspend a judge based on sentiments and emotions. If the DSS is serious about their claims, they should formally tender the evidence to the Council. Countries are built on laws not sentiments, hearsay, emotions, and media trials. We must get it right in this country...DSS should tender the evidence to hasten their prosecution and end this drama. 26 Likes |

kcnwaigbo:This is what will happen should NJC refuse to suspend those judges. 1. The judges will be arraigned in court irrespective of no suspension. No law says they can't be arranged. 2. The Judiciary will be further rubbished and lose further credibility in the eyes of Nigerians. 3. Nigerians will pressure the CJN/NJC to suspend those judges to at least bring some credibility back to the bench. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

SoNature:Tender evidences that will be used to prosecute them in court to the same council they belong so they can frustrate their trial? With the way JCN handled the cases taken to them before now, the body has proved it can't be trusted. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Ok On Monday morning you brought this type of lengthy writeup. Do you want me to be late for work? I will read after closing from work. But does the jusges have dignity at all? In saner climes, most of them would have commited suicide by now because of the shame. Are these the judges that will fight corruption? This whole saga changed my perceptions about the judiciary, they are the worst in terms of corruption. Judges should not be remotedly linked to anything corrupt. My conclusion is that the judiciary is corrupt. 3 Likes |

But how does it concern the Presidency?? The citizens of this country called Nigeria are just too lazy to take up their own destiny into their hands. People should have been in the streets to demand that the judges step down to clear their names, except we should regard them as 'Fellow politicians' that has no shame. 1 Like |
