The process for 2016 Ballon d'Or is underway, France football unveiled 30 men shortlist on Monday. Real madrid FC have total number of six players making them the team with highest number of players in the shortlist.

Spanish La liga produces 13 players out of the total of 30, 8 players from the English Premier league, 5 players from the German Bundesliga, 3 players from Italian serie A and all from Juventus, and a player from Sporting Lisbon, giving the Portuguese Liga its only spot on the shortlist.
