Appeal Court To Deliver Judgment On Saraki’s CCT Trial Today by DONSMITH123(m): 9:53am On Oct 27, 2016
Ade Adesomoju, Abuja

The Court of Appeal in Abuja will today deliver judgment in the appeal filed by Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, challenging his trial on charges bordering on assets declaration breaches before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The Justice Abdul Aboki-led panel of the appeal court had on October 6 heard the appeal challenging the jurisdiction of the CCT, and reserved for judgment.

The hearing notice for the judgment was served on parties to the appeal late on Wednesday.

The five-man panel is already seated set to deliver the judgment.

This will be the second time the appeal court will be delivering judgment on the same subject matter of jurisdiction to try the Senate President.
The Court of Appeal had last year ruled against Saraki on the jurisdiction of the CCT and asked him to proceed to face the 16 counts preferred against him.

The judgment of the appeal court was validated by the Supreme Court in February.

There's nothing spectacular about whatever the judges are going to come up with. His motion lacks merit as it's a repetition of previous ones thrown out by various courts. Even if the court rules in his favour this time, which is almost impossible, his CCT trial will continue all the same. He's simply been making use of so-called technicality which corrupt judges prop up in order to favour a visibly corrupt person.

Exactly my thought. Buhari really messed up with his open battles from different fronts against the "Legislature" and "Judiciary" at the same time. They will deal with him, Buhari has lost the battle to "fix" Nigeria with his body odour.

*Deep down inside my heart I want that fetish, corrupt Saraki to rot in jail, his case is taking forever*
