People ask why the price of a bag of rice skyrocketed from N8,000 under GEJ to N26,000 today under Buhari. When you replace a Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, whose highest educational qualification is a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and who was a fellow of the Rockefeller Foundation and whose goal at the agricultural ministry was achieving food security for Nigeria, with an Audu Ogbeh, whose highest educational qualification is a masters in French Literature from the University de Toulouse and whose goal at the agricultural ministry is to import grass from Brazil and create grazing reserves for herdsmen, what you get is skyrocketing food prices.
