Students of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Registered their discomfort in the 400% hike in school fees by taking their protest to the oba palace in a bid to get the attention of the state government.

ITV Benin were on ground to cover the protest.
The Police were however commended for their presence as they guarded the students all the way to NJC.

University Education is for everyone. Some of them should learn some skills. There are too many unemployed graduates. Even in the United states university education isn't so cheap.

Dnt want to sound selfish but am glad I graduated before dey did dis. we paid 15k for acceptance fee now its abt 40-60k. school fee of 45k before is now abt 135k Dats too much. we are not even talking abt other small small dues o. They want to play smartly dey decided to start d hike last yr for just fresh intake. so dat as dey proceed dey continue wit d outrageous amt because dey know old student would not take it slightly
