You must excuse me for such a blunt interruption of your day but this needs addressing. Too many Yorubas today are Christians and that's not a problem, except dirty Christians are a problem. Dirty Christians are those who are waiting on the Lord to come back and are raising hell until he gets here. Those of you who feel that African traditions are pagan worship, who speak foul of these traditions, while standing upon the land that the ancestors built. For instance, Sango is a royal ancestor. Where in as, most may not have famous and great people in their family bloodline, it doesn't give right to mock this royal ancestor. We have our own family patrons and community ancestors who bring us honor. A royal ancestor is one whose blood extends back far into the past of ancient African royalty, whose life's work and destiny elevated the race in a time of need, whom we now venerate. This strengthens us beyond family and community and unites us as a whole. The disrespect of African royal ancestors of great significance began as an European enslavement and colonization of African people. The hurling of insults and lies at the greatest king Africa ever produced, "Alaafin Sango". When in the foul depths, hulls of slave ships, the women holding their children would sing the praises of the mighty King Sango, singing that he would bring them victory over their enemies and restore them. The worship of the royal king Sango is vast throughout Diaspora, in 42 nations Sango is loved by African people. When slavery and colonization ended the disrespect and leveling should have ended but it didn't. It has continued in the form of religious worship of Jesus Christ by dirty Christian Freemasons seeking to usurp African traditional order and make traditional government nothing more than ceremonial. For instance, when a former governor of Oyo changed the order of the Oba Council to rotary, where the seat of the Chairman, traditionally held by Baba Sango, the Alaafin of Oyo, would rotate to the Ooni. I am aware the Ooni of Ile has preferred Christianity as his mask while still practicing traditional medicine and divination. And because so many Yorubas are Christians, and with the power and wealth of Rome, many Yorubas want the Ooni to be the head of the Yoruba race and not Baba Sango. This is saying that Nigerian Republic is forever and the great and mighty empire of Oyo will never rise again. The Yoruba race will never be restored to its proper place and dignity, this is weak faith. But the Ooni is not the head of the empire nor the custodian of the Yoruba race. Those who support Roman order over the Yoruba race are in treason. Baba Sango does not bow to Jesus Christ. Baba Sango bows to no one. And well as Oba Kusu bows to no one. There will be no Oduduwa Nation while there is still an Oyo Empire and Baba Sango is the official head of Oyo Empire. My advice to you who are sincerely noble, is to help Baba Sango to rebuild the empire. To reconnect with Yorubas in Benin, Togo, Ghana and Diaspora. For the youth to be vibrant, seek education, vocational trade, and help rebuild the village and kingdom where you live. Ase.

Europe destroyed African culture -Alaafin
on: July 29, 2014

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, has berated Europeans for ‘deliberately setting out to destroy other cultures’ with their hegemonic one. The monarch said the Europeans super-imposed their own cultures and values on subject peoples, in order to perpetuate the relationship of inequality and inequity, so as to achieve their purpose.

He said this in his speech, delivered yesterday at the first Brazil- Nigeria International Seminar to Preserve Shared Cultural Heritage, held at Salvador/Bahia, Brazil.

The monarch stated that the religious foundation of the Yoruba tradition and culture “is presently under serious threats posed by guest faiths in Africa, the parlous socioeconomic conditions in Africa and a creation of neo-liberal economic policies, which have continued to impoverish many African states.”

His words: “The guest faiths are, therefore, feeding on this to preach the gospel of individual prosperity and well-being on earth.

“They have abandoned the earlier gospel of earthly denials in order to enjoy heaven. By their new approach, they are misleading scores and scores of Africans, encouraging them to disrespect, dishonour and abandon anything African, with our religious beliefs being demonised and discarded,” he noted.

The Alaafin added: “Some misguided Africans now abandon their family names in preference to names without bearing to their backgrounds.

“This danger is imminent and it is already destroying the African personality and confidence.” While insisting that European colonisation of Africa was indeed a cultural project, Oba Adeyemi said, “It is now commonplace in Africa for practitioners of the African religion to be vilified, persecuted and blamed for the underdevelopment of their societies.”

To reverse the trend, the Alaafin appealed to the Brazilian government to support efforts to preserve the cultural monuments and the tangible heritage by supporting a World Heritage nomination to UNESCO and the listing of Oyo town as an endangered heritage site.

According to the monarch, the support could also come through conduct of academic researches to study and map all assets of Oyo’s cultural heritage, as well as promotion and support of the use of new technologies for heritage management and education, in addition to encouraging and facilitating Brazilians to visit and study the ancient traditions of Oyo.

Oba Adeyemi, in the paper entitled: ‘Perpetuating Sango Oyo Heritage Continuity in Oyo and the Diaspora’ he delivered, said: “Our traditional religion is part of our heritage, which needs to be preserved and recognised.”

While reiterating his position as the defender of the African cultural heritage, not only on the continent, but across the globe, he said the frontal attack on Yoruba religious, socio-cultural and spiritual traditions must be resisted and confronted with a ‘superior spiritual force’.

Greetings,

I will explain it to you in Sango's terms as Sango accepts no terms and neither does Sango bow before anyone. The Guest Faiths which Baba Sango speaks must go! They have over stayed their welcome, if they were invited in the first place. No need to go over ugly history at this point. But the solution presents itself as such, "Irunmole towns like Oyotunji and Kuso", must come about. We must produce towns in which only the Irunmole energy is allowed, Irunmole temples and shrines, the Irunmole must be paid reverence in the hearts of Yorubas once again. These towns will be fortified with powerful economic infrastructure, a vibrant queen mother system, an Ogboni court and Ogboni Trade Union, youth civil corps, and taxes collected and sent to Oyo Ile. There will be no church or mosque allowed in any Irunmole towns. No evangelizing of any religions. No missionaries are allowed into Irunmole towns, the people will be totally independent and interdependent upon Yoruba economic infrastructure. At some point, its not about capturing numbers to raise Oyo Empire back into greatness but capturing territory. Alliances can be made with Benin Kingdom, Hausa kingdoms, Igbo Kingdoms, Dahomey kingdoms, Fon kingdoms, Akan kingdoms, to trade Yoruba produced goods, farm produce, craft, tools, weapons, art, etc. We need to get moving with forming economic infrastructure with other African traditional governments so we make sure our brothers are doing just as well as we are doing. This will bring peace, prosperity and a larger and stronger Ogun/Military Police to prevent outside interference in the entire region's affairs.

I have improved somewhat in my thinking of the ECOWAS which are the 15 West African nations alliance. This issue here is that these entities are Roman/Greco state models. I do want to applaud Pan Africans for their efforts to lift Africa via these colonial governments, however they're not working good results. ECOWAS failed because Liberia is soft of homosexuality and hasn't ever punished any culprits caught in the act. Homosexuality must not be allowed to spread into Africa. Therefore ECOWAS is out, it is a good effort but too many complications. We must stick to the simple model of traditional government. The Kings/Chiefs own the lands anyway and have respect of the people, especially in the rural areas where the food is grown. We can't get nothing done if we can't win any territory and that means respect of the Royal families and the noble stakeholders. This is literally true for much of Black/Africa as I've studied all 4 corners. So all Pan African suggested models of unity fail if they don't respect the cult of Kingship. Also the Queenship, because Queendoms need to be honored as well, as well as Queen Mothers, we must finance the rise of Women because it will bring peace and prosperity much quicker. Also I like being a subject of a Queen ruler. Living in a Queendom can be a blissful experience. No child ever goes hungry in a Queendom. No child or woman is ever raped, death would be the sentence. Plus the queen mother would make sure every youth had a skill and livelihood. Kingdoms provide protection for their entire region though, Kings rule over other Kings like King Sango and formed powerful empires. African civilization has a beautiful culture, the monarch system is our way of life and it must be returned to its proper place in our ancestral land. The Monarchy is a superior form of government, we can add democracy or vote at the lower levels for the people's input, in fact our ancestors had this very system in place. We will rise again if we stew this dish right. Ase.
