CreamyBee: I think the time varies from individual to individual how soon you can conceive after stopping the pill so it is hard to give a number. But, it can take anywhere from just few months to up to a year for some. Your period normalising also depends.... where you taking the pill for regulation of your period or for contraception? My suggestion is to stop the pill now, then have at least one regular period, then start your TTC. Regards. |

Jumybecks: How old are you and do you have medical issues? Are you on any medications/supplements etc? Can you get erecti*on at nigh? There are a number of factors that can cause erectil*e dysfunction. You need to make sure it is not due to medical issues. In that I say, screen particularly for diabetes (get sugar level checked). If you are young, have lots of stress/anxiety or depression in your life, deal with those issues or get treated for them. Most common cause in young people is performance anxiety, stress and depression. So, you need stress/relaxation management techniques. If you can afford a therapist, that would help discover or resolve hidden or underlying issues for your erectil*e problems. You can also talk this out with your sexual partner. Try pre-intmac*y things, take it slow and easy. Regards. |

MunAKeyzZ: Nothing good. Infection that can become systemic (via blood). This can turn into DIC, sepsis, septic shock, death. If not systemic infection, then scarring resulting in fertility issues later on. |

cuteendowed: As long as you are in malaria endemic region, you are always being exposed to malaria. Things you can do to prevent malaria bites are to wear protective clothings, mosquito nets and bug repellants and make your place is inhabitable to mosquitos such as (if you can) not having stagnant water etc. If you are having recurrent malaria still, either you are not being properly treated (ineffective treatment) for some reasons OR you may have something else other than malaria such as typhoid. Take care |

great664: What is your age range, medical problems? Is it in both eyes? Eye pain? Properly get screened for diabetes, glaucoma first. You need a trip to a regular doc and then have him/her refer you to an eye doctor for a proper eye exam, and treatment. |

eljanfortis: Ok. But, don't depend on it. Ventolin inhaler is just a rescue medication. If you have to use this inhaler everyday or several times a night. Then! you need to add inhaled steroid--for proper longer term control of your asthma symptoms. Also, keep away from your triggers. Good luck |

Xiadnat:Thank you for the wonderful insight sir. I am 23 and i don't always get erection at night, i only get erection during sexual circumstances. I have no medical issues as at today and i am not on any medications. How can i get my sugar level checked? Thank you |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 12:12pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
Jumybecks: It is most likely psychological cause. Are you married? Religious/spiritual or have some reservations about your sexual activities? Any issues with your sexual partner...? as in the dynamics of your relationship? I think it's likely in your mind/head. But, to check your blood sugar, go to your doc if you have one. If not, and if expensive, then disregard it unless you have a reason to suspect you may have diabetes especially if you are: drinking, eating or peeing more than usual. Best wishes. |

please doc,can u recommend any good antibiotics for fast treatment of staph.my friend has the infection for 7months now and have been treating it with herbs but all to no avail.thanks |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 1:32pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
great664: OK. You likely have inflammation of the eye. You probably should not have self treated as you may have introduced some chemicals in your eye that has irritated your eyes. There is a condition called uveitis. Treatment involves steroid, generally recommended after an evaluation from ophthalmologist. Good luck. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 1:36pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
ceeplus: Where is the infection? I doubt that s/he had staph infections for months w/o it going into something serious. What are his/her symptoms now? You really should not be taking antibiotics for staph unless you have staph skin infection (or systemically). Otherwise, I could recommend bathing with antibacterial soaps or applying topicals like neosporin, polysporin, chlorhexidine wash, bactroban (mupirocin) Good luck |

Hi, I'm sixteen, male, 5ft8" tall, plump, weighing about 100 kg. My problem is the size of my Penis. It's about 1-1and half inches when limp, and just a little bit over 4 inches when erect. Is this normal? P.S- I know I'm supposed to focus on more important things like schooling. I actually am. I don't intend on having a girlfriend anytime soon, not even close . Just want to know if there are any possible solutions and precautions I should take before it's too late for me. Thanks!. Oh,just FYI, I had testicular torsion when I was 13,and had one testicle removed cus it was too late. |

Xiadnat:With the ventolin inhaler, have observed some positive difference, which inhaled steriid would yu recommend for,me sir. Yea,the major one is cold stuff/weather am tryin as much as possible to |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 11:51am On Jun 28, 2015 |
Aphex: You are below average. There is penis lengthening, but it is recommended if 1.6 inches when flaccid, 4.6 inches when erect. But, it sounds like you are on a heavy side and quite young, so I would advise for you to loose weight first and not consider the lengthening just yet. You are still quite young. Chances are, you are probably still maturing. Focus on school and other more important things! And not having a girlfriend or having sex is just about the best thing you can do for yourself (and others) now. I wish you well with your studies. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 11:52am On Jun 28, 2015 |
eljanfortis: How often are you using the inhaler? You only require steroid inhaler if you are using the inhaler several times a day/night/week. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 11:55am On Jun 28, 2015 |
Jumybecks: So, you cannot attain or keep erect peni*s at night or morning you are saying? Have you bed partner confirm this Or have anyone confirmed this? If that is the case that you cannot maintain erect peni*s at night, then, check your testosterone, for this you need to see a health professional. You may be low on testosterone. Best. |

Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 8:10pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
Aphex: You are very welcome dear. Don't forget to work on loosing weight--it may also be that you have more length hiding under the canvas of fat. So, if you loose weight, you see more. Best to you. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 8:14pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
eljanfortis: I strongly recommend you see about getting on an inhaled steroid. It is prescription, so you need a doctor for that. Inhaled steroid is to reduce underlying inflammation in your lungs so you get long term control of symptoms, so you have less symptoms (or none) overall. The pro ventolin inhaler is just for you to relieve symptoms acutely, it is not meant to be used every day. See, the problem with asthma is inflammation of your lungs. Ventolin doesn't do anything with the inflammation. Inhaled steroid reduces inflammation. Good luck. |

Xiadnat:Umm, sir/ ma, I'm sorry for bothering u again. Just one quick question, about loosing weight. I'm trying to reduce my food intake. As far as exercises go,does lifting weight help me positively or negatively? Cus I've been told by certain peers that it doesn't help lose fat,but it would make d person bigger and out of shape. Already have my own weight. I can start lifting, waiting for ur authorisation.though I started some time ago but stopped due to the rumours.. I can't do cardio workouts. Since the beginning of this year, each time I try, I get extremely dizzy, which Would result to serious illness, but lifting weights is just fine for me. So,should I continue? |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 10:04pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
Aphex: Getting dizzy during aerobic exercise is not normal. You need to find out why you get dizzy; most importantly need to rule out heart/lung problem. Do you have a doctor who can evaluate you? Do you have any medical issues that you are aware of? Did you just start exercising. You can still lift weights. But, for most effective and quickest and most sustainable weight loss goals: combine: low fat diet + aerobic exercises + resistance training (weight lifting). Weight lifting is generally for toning and building muscle mass. If your mass is covered in layers of fat, well, that's tougher. But, it is better than no exercise at all. Due to your dizziness: try brief jogging, walking, and other low impact exercises like squats, lunges, climb stairs or machines such as ellipticals. If you do get dizzy with even light aerobic exercise, then you really need to get checked out by a health professional. Good luck |
