Hello doc..I was having hot sensation in my groan area went to the hospital and my urine mcs showed E coli .doctor prescribed antibiotics and I was getting some relieve from the hot sensation..after some time it was back again and I had to do another urine mcs and vdrl test..urine showed no growth and vdrl came out negative..doctor just assured me and gave me multuivitamins..buh I feel so uncomfortable especially when I sit or rub my thighs together..what do u advise I do pls..its really affecting me |

GMan650: Hmm.. Pictures? It itches only with sun? Photo-dermatitis. There eczema, psoriasis too. Try good moisturising lotion and can get hydrocortisone steroid cream and apply to affected area. Allergen is just something that can cause allergies or you can get allergic to in basic explanation. |

painedbro: This is called paresthesia. Things it could be: fungal infection, internal or system issues like diabetes, dysfunctional varicose veins, neuro muscular issues which means it can be neurological. Are there any rashes in the area? what drugs were you given? Any injuries in the past? you play sports etc? it seems they have run STD panel which were negative especially VDRL. Recommendations: check your blood sugar. If you can afford it, see a neurologist. At last resort, your GP can give ya something to quite the nerves. |

bussieboi: I highly advise against taking misoprosto.l without the supervision and directions of a gynaecologist/obstetrician. Self treating with this drug for abortion is very dangerous. |

Hello doc, ever since i have the last abortion i did in 2014, ive been experiencing painful measuration, heavy flow and pain in my pelvic. And breast milk discharge if i squze my breast. I went to the hospital, i did pelvic scan which reads, A NON-GRAVID ANTEVERTED UTERUS IS SEEN MEASURING 44×39MM WITH HOMOGENOUS MYOMETIAL ECHOES. BOTH OVARIES ARE NORMAL. NO ABNORMALITY NOTED IN THE ADNEXAE. SLIGHT FLUID NOTED WITHIN THE POSTERIOR-CUL-DE-SAC NO EVIDENCE OF CYESIS IMPRESSION:ACYESIS PID HORMONAL IMBALANCE. NB:HVS, URINE MCS, HORMONAL PROFILE ADVICE. PLS doc what does all this mean, can i still conceive because ive been trying to conceive and it's not coming forth. Pls i need your advice. Tnx |

blessbair1984: It will be difficult to naturally conceive at this point. From your history and lab results, it sounds like hormonal imbalance specifically pro-lactin. Have you gotten hormonal profile? If you havent, go and get one. If you have, please post result. Are you on any medications? |

Good evening doc. I had this burning sensation in my private yesterday morning but before then, i woke up with a kind of stomach upset very early in the morning. later in the afternoon, i started having discomfort when i wanted to urinate and by evening time the pain increase. I could not stand the pain today so i had to call my husband from work to come and take me to the hospital. I was asked to do urine test and was told that it was infection that me and dh will have to do the treatment. This evening i went to wee and i saw some few tiny blood cloth like things in my urine. My question is, what is the cause of that and how can i prevent it? 1 Like |

Pls doctors in the house help me; 1. For sometime now, i've been having this problem that seems like a sleep disorder. I usually sleep around 10pm and wake up around 6am. I would start feeling seriously weak and dizzy again after about 5 minutes of waking. This would be followed by this throbing in the head like someone who haven't slept for a week. This would keep getting worse through the day. Sometimes even if i decide to take afternoon nap, i would still wake up to the same problems. Doctors in the house good morning, My name is oloruntoba ,I have being have pain ,discomfort and experience of twisting at my upper right abdomen for about three year. l have visited two hospital and being attended to by three doctor. This are there advices : 1st doctor prescribed parastamol, antimalaria drug and multivite I decide to take a scan but sinologist report was normal this, normal that, no gall stone etc. 2nd doctor told me to take for test, which are HCV AND HBSAG+ ,both were negative. He further directed me to GAMI FAWEHINMI HEALTH DIIAGNOSTIC CENTRE for this two test: liver function test and Abd\pelvic test. which l have not done due to money constrain. the third doctor prescribe scan which I also did, the result was negative after which he prescribled Azithromycin Tablets 500 mg ,which I bought and use but the condition is the same. Abaccha: You may be suffering from migraine headache or some form of headache. The worse case scenario is tumor/mass in the cranium, but let's not jump to that first. I hardly come to NL now, so please PM me and we can go from there as I need to understand your history/symptoms more. |

purity22: the causes of abdominal/pelvic pain in women are numerous and your symptoms are generic. The only way to ascertain where/what it might be is by careful history and exam findings of none I can do properly online especially NL. I suggest seeing an gynaecologist first. Moreover, if you are sexually active, I would start with pregnancy test to rule out miscarriage. Anyway, also consider urinary stone. PM me for further questions/assessment. Thanks. memphisDepay: are you in malaria/typhoid endemic area? If you are, get tested asap. If not, still need to see get tested for strep throat and the like. I think it might be infectious process. Any fever/chills? For further help, please PM me as I don't come to NL often. tobajetex: it seems they have considered the likely causes of abdominal pain. If and when you can afford it, do consider LFTs and the scan as they mentioned. But, I really need to know more about your history in order to even start to think of cause. There's a condition called median arcuate ligament syndrome and mimics abdominal issues. There is also hernia. Anyway, consider sending me a PM should you need more help etc. Take care |

Thanks. thanks doc. i went for hospital and i was asked to do urine test, was told that it was infection, i and dh had to do the treatment but since the treatment, the pain i had when urinating stoped but have started having edema and i do pass urine normal and when its being pressed, it doesn't look like there is fluid under my skin and its not hard too. The swelling is from my ankle to my toes. |
