Wow!!!!!!!!! Very annoying but funny at the same time. I believe all the staff worship in the church since its a missionary school. If they have all the records in accounts, they should be deducting the 10% straight from the salaries sad sad sad sad

Those of them paying peanut to their employees will soon be begging. The reason being that many of them will prefer n-teach under n-power to their stressful job. Working in a private secondary school is like a suicide mission. Too many illogical rules dominate that sector. I could remember one of them that I was working for usually deduct staff salary for using earpiece, for calling parents and sacking staff for not attending praise night declared by the proprietress among others.

Rubbish! They should just tell their staffs that they are to pay a compulsory 10% tax cos paying tithe is a personal decision.

Your friend needs to leave that place of employment.

God never commanded anyone to tithe their naira. The Bible says that God's holy tithe was to be agricultural, not monetary.

Study your Bible! Monetary tithes were never commanded for, carried to, collected in, or controlled by the Church that is Christ's Body.

Exactly. The Jewish God Yahweh made those rules for Africans.

Clearly most religious organizations in Nigeria institutionalize the extortion of the flock, for the sole benefit of high-flying fat-cat pastors along with their immediate circle of family and cronies. Disregarding the appalling spelling and diction on display in above church ultimatum served school teachers, the threatening tone of that notice makes one wonder whether Jesus packed a 9mm handgun to preserve order back in the day. So sad to ponder the irony that even today as the year 2016 exits stage left, Nigerian families across the land very often starve at home in order to meet the demands imposed by TITHE BANDIT coercion tactics employed to raise revenue in churches.

The rogues' gallery of miracle pastors that blight the Nigerian landscape, range from a goatee-sporting career prophet of doom, Man of Dog Pastor Jaguda, whose rickety slum building recently collapsed and killed scores of cult followers, to money laundering Pastor Eunuch Adebole, who commutes in splendor to Paris and London aboard his $20M private jet, while allowing traffic on federal highways back in Nigeria to gridlock motorists for tens of hours, due to vehicular swarms mass-migrating to and from his mass sheep-fleecing fiestas.

Simply put, any human being who claims to have God's cellphone number is a liar and a thief. That said, all who willingly hand over ANY fraction of their hard earned paycheck to a fast talking religious snake-oil salesman, DESERVE to sustain that pointless loss.

Free your mind, and your gluteus-maximus will follow.

These money making organizations should stop destroying the name of the Lord. Giving is an expression of thanksgiving and is of no value when it's done out of compulsion. Christ never mentioned tithe, remember the widow that gave very little but her all out of love

No, He made them for the children of Israel who were living in the Promised Land. African's can live anywhere. But it was only the Israeli's living in the Promised Land that God required to tithe.

Pay u salary, collect a good chunk of it as tithe, the pastor lives large, workers live in penury!
That is now d standard in many nigerian new generation churches, twisting d bible all for their financial gain. Its no more God's work, just money, money, money.
Black Africans in the African continent are currently the highest church going, yet are the most backward in all aspects of life. The Chinese are atheist, but are d fastest developing.Does it not tell any intelligent mind that we are not trully practising christianity the way it shud be practiced?
