Former Cuban president, Fidel Castro had died aged 90.... The revolutionary leader's death was announced on state television by hits brother and current Cuban President, Paul Castro... Castro took power following a revolution in 1959 and ruled Cuba for 49 years, before standing down from office in February 2008 after a long illness.
