Why do men pay dowry/brideprice when it's the both of them that are getting married, it doesn't make sense, Marriage is a thing of choice and God's blessings, so why is money to be added into it?   |

i have never heard of anyone in nigeria paying a dowry and as far as bride price this topic comes up nearly every week. let it go already. you dont like it, dont pay it/ask for it |
