CAF's technical committee decision regarding the XI from the competition is a little curios. Firstly, Alaba Jonathan conceded only one goal, which was a penalty shoot as against Cameroon's Annette NGO NDOM. Further Jonathan practically won the final match for Nigeria. She made outstanding saves including a one on one. Oparanozie's goal was practically the only serious trial against Annette NGO NDOM.

Onome Ebi was just stellar. She was the best in the Nigerian team. Granted Oshoala scored the highest number of goals and Oparanozie scored two critical goals, but the Nigeria defence conceded only a goal and she was the marshal.

Ordega was really not her best self in this competition, but the 13 goals scored by Nigeria are testament of her assists. I feel Okobi was better as a support to the attack than she was though.

The Cameroonians were very physical and rough, I wonder how they could win the fair play . Their attackers always aggressively blocked our keeper during corner kicks.

Kenneth (forgotten her first name) from the U-17 team looked solid in center back at the U-17 world cup. She could very well be Ohale's center-back partner at the next world cup.
I expect this tournament to be the last for Ikidi, who is 29. In her place, Ngozi Ebere, should get the starting spot.
Joy Bokiri has a future in the Super Falcons midfield too.

Nigerians tend to take a leap in the darkness. I guess the proper team to look for replacement of Super Falcon players should be U-20 team not U-17.

My observation about the superfalcon team..
Alaba Jonathan did a great job btw the Sticks. And she is currently our best Goalkeeper 4 now...Tochukwu Oluehi 29yrs old goalkeeper should be able to battle Alaba 4 d No.1 sport...

Our Defence was a bit Shaky,,,let hope Coach florence omagbemi do something be4 Ghana2018 AWCON...

she need to work on her overlapping and returning rate. Thuo she tried her best let hope 4 improvement..
Osinachi Ohale; CB 9/10
she was at her best. Did a great job at the defence having up to 3 of her in d Superfalcon defence should stablelize the team.
Onome Ebi; CB 6/10
currently the oldest member and player of the Team at 33yrs she still kept her own territory clean but those Athletics moves were no longer there. Let hope 4 a Better replacement.
Faith Ikidi ;LB 7.5/10
her experience really counted in d defence, she shown why she is still a reliable defender. After playing as a centre Back through out the Season for Pitea IF.her Returning was poor but Ikidi Experience is really needede in the team.
Ngozi Ebere; LB 3/10
Did not get much playing time but still one of our Left back.
