Gen 1:31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

After creating man, God looked at all He had made and saw that everything was very good,
there was no need for anything to evolve, to become better or diffrent.

Someone Said: "Keep up the good work, Ray! I myself can't thank you for being the reason for my de-conversion, but I'm sure there is plenty out there who can."

Ray Answers: My life has been devoted to exposing the hypocrites in the Church, and, with the help of God, seeing them awakened to their delusional state. But there are still plenty of more false converts faking it and deceiving themselves. Let's hope they admit that they don't know the Lord, and repent and trust the Savior, before Judgment Day.

Someone Said: "I would start with Origin of Species and read the 1000+ books written on the topic since then. How many books prove God? Oh right, one."

Ray Answers: You will read another thousand and not find proof for evolution. The whole belief rests on faith. I read every page of Origin of Species and it was drier than a ten year-old peanut butter sandwich. The Bible doesn't prove God. It doesn't need to. We know that God exists because of the incredible order of Nature and our God-given conscience. It is simply the Instruction Book for those who know Him.

"Anyone with a bit of common sense can tell Ray's video is just pure nonsense." Pat Conway

Ray Answers: When "Evolution Vs. God" went up on YouTube, atheists were furious. If it was "pure nonsense" they should have been happy because anyone with common sense would see that. But they weren't, and there’s a good reason for their indignation.

I wrote a book once called, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You Can't Make Him Think. Atheists were furious about that too. It knocked Richard Dawkin's book, The God Delusion off the number one spot in a certain category on Amazon, and that sent them into a panic. About 200 of them collaborated (we uncovered their little conspiracy) and went onto Amazon.com and gave the book a low rating, so that it wouldn't sell. They said to be careful not to give it one star and arouse suspicion. The reviews are still there if you wish to read about how the book is worse than finding dog hair in your sandwich.

But the title is true. Atheists don't think. Let me tell you why I believe that. Let's forget for a moment that they embrace the scientifically impossible, and just look at why they are angry about the movie. It's because if evolution isn't true, the alternative is unthinkable. Firstly, it means that things are intelligently designed and that God is real. That means that sin and evil are realities, and that as moral created beings, we are accountable to Him, which means that a place of punishment must exist. It also means that the Bible is right when it says that the "soul" is the life that inhabits the human body, and that it's eternal and leaves the body upon death.

But it gets even worse for the poor atheist. It means that the knuckle-dragging-lowlife-homophobic-fundamentalist-Bible-bashing-narrow-minded-anti-science-anti-choice-slave-loving-misoginistic-snake-talking believers are right. That's a mortal blow to human pride.

But it gets even worse from there. It also means that the atheist will have to give up lust (horrors), pornography, fornication (double horrors) and even other sins that are morally offensive to God. Here now is where the atheist doesn't think. It also means that death has been destroyed by Jesus Christ, and that hopeless and helpless humanity can have everlasting life as a gift from God. It means that any repentant human being can avoid Hell and inherit Heaven simply by trusting Jesus. Watch the comments section now and see atheists gloss over the gravity of what I have just said, and prove my point.

"The Hominidae whose members are known as great apes or hominids, are a taxonomic family of primates that includes seven extant species in four genera: Pongo, the Bornean and Sumatran orangutan; Gorilla, the eastern and western gorilla; Pan, the common chimpanzee and the bonobo; and Homo, the human (and though not extant, the near-human ancestors and relatives (e.g., the Neanderthal))."

Biologically,
apes are animals
humans are higher animals

anyway for those saying they descended from apes in line with evolution, even though it hasn't been recorded of a single evolutionary change in humans since the time of Jesus Christ till now; like emmanuella said, 'instead of saying we evolved from apes, say you and your family evolved from apes'.

Yes, it is a fact we are similar in many ways but it is also a fact that we are different in more ways. As for me and my family we did not descend/evolve from apes or any other animal.

I agree with seun on this. Sons of God coming to mate with the daughters or men are of the same flock as angels so they can mate and produce offspring.
OLAADEGBU:

It is your interpretation that is a mistake. Angels and Humans are not of the same kind and hence cannot reproduce.

Seun:

How do you know this? They're described as looking like men, except that sometimes their clothes are very shiny. The angel at Jesus tomb was described by Mark as "a young man". The Angels who visited Lot were perceived as sexually attractive men by his neighbours. You said that the reason for the similarities in the DNA of various animals is that they have the same designer. Wouldn't this apply to man and angels, too?

"Didn't men write the Bible?"

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:21).

Men wrote the Bible, but they wrote it in the same way a pen is instrumental in writing a letter.
Men were God's instruments to pen His letter to humanity. His signature is on the letter through the amazing prophecies of the Bible. Only He knows the future.

"The Bible is full of mistakes."

It has seeming mistakes, which, when investigated with a humble heart, prove to be our mistakes, not God's.
The death of Judas, the day Adam died, the "two" creations, the last words of Jesus, etc., all have simple explanations for those who will listen.

A skeptic asked: "God told Abraham to sacrifice his son to prove his love."

Ray answered: God told Abraham to "offer" Isaac, and when he was about to kill him, God stopped him (see Genesis 22). This is a Bible "type"-- of God sending His "only-begotten Son" to suffer for the sin of the world. Any dirt we try and throw at God will always come back down on us, because He is without sin.

Did Jesus Identify Himself as God?

There is no prophet other than Jesus that could or dare say he who believes in me or abides in me has eternal life, (Jn.6:35,47;11:25; Jn.15)

Or asked to the people to follow me (Mt.19:21;10:21; Lk. 18:22).

Nor could any other prophet state that there are massive consequences for not believing who he said he is. There is probably no more of an important statement than when Jesus said to the people “for if you do not believe that I am, you will die in your sins” (John 8:24).

"You know after listening to the show yesterday, you posed the question, where do you think you will go after you die? With cultural Christianity rampant in most places (guilt by birth in a Christian home, or after a sinner's prayer some time back) most of the 'friends' that have no fruit would say 'Heaven' of course. So, what would you say to someone that has no fruit in their lives, yet would say Heaven is where they would go?" - Lynda

Ray Answers: The world thinks all is well between them and God because they cling to their own conception of what they believe God is like. Self-righteousness is rooted in idolatry. They go about to establish their own righteousness "being ignorant of the righteousness which is of God." So what you should do is show them the nature of God revealed in the Bible. Show them His perfect standard of righteousness—that He considers lust to be adultery and hatred to be murder. If the conscience is doing its God-given duty, that should stir a healthy fear of facing Him. Nothing makes sinners flee from sin like the fear of God. Without that healthy fear they will remain complacent in their sin.

"I want logic. Either God can do all things, or he can't. It's not a matter of whether or not he wants to. If you want to prove that to me, then you can try. But it needs to be done with logic and reason and evidence." Brad Gurney

Okay, let's have some logic. Tell me, do you like a blue sky? Do you enjoy a good sunset? How about a sunrise? Where to you, is "here"? Pinpoint "now." Where is up (point to it)? Now point to down.

The sky isn't blue. It doesn't have any color to it. The sun never rises, nor does it set (the earth turns). "Now" cannot be pinpointed. The millisecond you pinpoint it, it becomes "then." There is no such direction as up, or down. Those who point up in the northern hemisphere, point in a different direction to those at the equator or in the Southern Hemisphere.

We can't be sure of anything. Two hundred years ago the thought of flying 400 people in a steel can at 33,000 feet was illogical and impossible. iPads are illogical. It makes no sense that someone can see me and talk to me at the speed of light from 7,000 miles away.

You say that these things become logical when explained. That's our point when it comes to God. If you want to shut your eyes to the genius of His handiwork (evidence for His existence) then go ahead, but make sure you realize that what you are doing is illogical, unreasonable, irrational and ridiculous, in the truest sense of the word.

OLAADEGBU:
In this thread I will be posting objections to seeming contradictions in the Bible and how they have been adequately rebutted by apologetics.

Objection 1:

The Bible has many seeming contradictions within its pages. For example, the four Gospels give four differing accounts as to what was written on the sign that hung on the cross.

"And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, ‘'THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS'." —Matthew 27:37

"The inscription of the charge against Him read, 'THE KING OF THE JEWS'." —Mark 15:26

"Now there was also an inscription above Him, 'THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS'." —Luke 23:38

"Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written, 'JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS'." —John 19:19

Rebuttal to objection #1.

Those who are looking for contradictions may therefore say, "See—the Bible is full of mistakes!" and choose to reject it entirely as being untrustworthy.

However, those who trust God have no problem harmonising the Gospels. There is no contradiction if the sign simply said, "This is Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews." The godly base their confidence on two truths:

1) "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16); and

2) an elementary rule of Scripture is that God has deliberately included seeming contradictions in His Word to "snare" the proud. He has "hidden" things from the "wise and prudent" and "revealed them to babes" (Luke 10:21), purposely choosing foolish things to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27).

If an ungodly man refuses to humble himself and obey the gospel, and instead desires to build a case against the Bible, God gives him enough material to build his own gallows. This incredible principle is clearly illustrated in the account of the capture of Zedekiah, king of Judah. Jeremiah the prophet told Zedekiah that God would judge him. He was informed that he would be "delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon"(Jeremiah 32:4). This is confirmed in Jeremiah 39:5-7 where we are told that he was captured and brought to King Nebuchadnezzar, then they "bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon."

However, in Ezekiel 12:13, God Himself warned, "I will bring him to Babylon …yet he shall not see it, though he shall die there" (emphasis added). Here is material to build a case against the Bible! It is an obvious mistake. Three Bible verses say that the king would go to Babylon, and yet the Bible in another place says that he would not see Babylon. How can someone be taken somewhere and not see it? It makes no sense at all—unless Zedekiah was blinded. And that is precisely what happened. Zedekiah saw Nebuchadnezzar face to face, saw his sons killed before his eyes, then "the king of Babylon… put out Zedekiah's eyes" before taking him to Babylon (Jeremiah 39:6,7). This is the underlying principle behind the many "contradictions" of Holy Scripture (such as how many horses David had, who was the first to arrive at the tomb after the resurrection of Jesus, etc.).

God has turned the tables on proud, arrogant, self-righteous man. When he proudly stands outside of the kingdom of God, and seeks to justify his sinfulness through evidence he thinks discredits the Bible, he doesn't realise that God has simply lowered the door of life, so that only those who are prepared to exercise faith, and bow in humility may enter. It is interesting to note that the seeming contradictions in the four Gospels attest to the fact that there was no corroboration between the writers.

Let me try and show you how it can be both. It would be impossible for me to eat a live, fat, blood-filled, wriggling worm. Of course it is possible for me to eat it--all I need to do is put it in my mouth and chew, but it is such a disgusting thought, I draw on the strength of the word "impossible" to substantiate the claim. Lying is so against God's holy nature, so repulsive, so disgusting and distasteful to Him the Bible calls on the strength of the word "impossible" to substantiate the claim. It is "impossible" for God to lie. That means you can totally trust every promise He makes.

You seem to have Christianity confused with other religions, such as Hinduism, that treat wives as mere property. The Tenth Commandment prohibits coveting (covetousness is an unlawful desire), and lists some of the items we are not to lust after. I'm sure you would agree that men tend to lust after women. So, women are included in the list. The association with other things we covet has nothing to do with their worth.

Christianity treats women with the utmost respect.
