Former president Goodluck Jonathan has commended President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia for conceding defeat after he lost to Mr. Adama Barrow.According to him,President Yahya has made Africa proud and is worthy of emulation.Below is what he said and see how Nigerians reacted above.. 'I commend President Yahya Jammeh for conceding to Mr. Adama Barrow, who won majority votes during Gambia's Presidential election. This is an exemplary conduct which is worthy of emulation and Africa is very proud of Mr. Jammeh. In the eyes of many, myself included, he stands taller today than at any other time during his twenty two years in office. It is my hope that his legacy of advancing the progress of The Gambia in all fronts over the years will be remembered and appreciated by all. This ineffectual buffoon and his minions will not cease to amuse me. You lost election despite known attempts at rigging the outcome. You knew you had no choice else you become another Gbagbo or Samuel Doe. So, you had no choice to concede the election you lost. Besides, you're not the first person to concede a lost election as a sitting president even in Africa. That honor goes to Aden Abdullahi of Somalia who first conceded in 1967. Others are emulating and appreciates what GEJ did for Nigeria. Buhari and his minions are busy blaming him up and down for their failures having known the bloodshed they had in mind contesting the election was simply thwarted by GEJ conceding defeat. Hence, putting Buhari in a state of confusion as he didn'y even have a plan b incase GEJ concedes. All what was in buhari's mind was, since GEJ is the incumbent, there is no way he is going to lose, so our plans should be on bloodshed increament, reason he has been confused and doesn't know which and what options he has to rule since power was handed over peacefully to him. A year and counting, one can not strongly point to a policy that seem to be the way forward. Shouting leveel of corruption up and down, then do something to tackle the level of corruption is another task for buhari. All he knows is to blame. One wonders why he goes for secret trials if his accusations are genuine. I pray that this GEJ's legacy will touch buhari's heart and melt it b4 2019, otherwise, that Daura dundee is not leaving anytime soon willingly by defeat or by resignation.
