Why Salafees Are Branded As Zealots

Of course a lot need be corrected in the approach of Salafee youth to Da'wah, which Salafiyyah is not to blame for any more than Islam is to blame for the misdeeds of Muslims the world over. Salafee scholars never stop emphasizing that too. But I realize that far beyond that, some 'good' reasons Salafees are the most commonly disliked by all the other groups are:

1) "Salafees are arrogant" for claiming to be the fortunate group. I say by the same token all Muslims should be judged arrogant for claiming Islam is the only way, and all people of the Sunnah must be arrogant for saying there's no Islam without the Sunnah.

Most Muslims don't understand that there is quite a difference between claiming superiority for a group (as the Prophet did) and claiming superiority for oneself as an individual, which no true Salafee does.

2) Salafees are frank in condemning deviancy in creed as other groups would not readily do. Even though those others criticize one another more spitefully behind their backs too, they're just too diplomatic (hypocritic?) with it in the bid to gain artificial creedless accord.

The true Salafee is your sincere friend and brother for the hereafter more than he is for this world.

In the true sense salafees cares for the ummah, just as how a father discipline a child he truly loves.

A defence of the methodology so people dont get scared when "salafiyyah" is being mentioned.

1.You belong to an organization for the purpose of learning more about your religion and also for spreading Islam. And more IMPORTANTLY you follow the Quran and the Sunnah in speech,acts and manners according to the understanding of the pious predecessors (salaf al-Salih) . Then, you belong to the saved group no matter the name your organization is called.

2. You don't belong to any organization and you follow the Quran and the Sunnah in speech,acts and manners according to the understanding of the pious predecessors (salaf al-Salih) . Then, you still belong to the saved sect.

3. You don't belong or you belong to any organization and you claim to be following the manhaj of the salaf and ranting that you are the best around but with the following problems.

a. Sleeping with a lady you have not legally married to,with the shuruut of Nikkah and you hide under the fact that you spoke with the parents on the phone or you visited her house with your friends just for introduction and you claim that is AQDU. You are NOT following the salaf you are a FORNICATOR.

b. You are causing enmity in a peaceful Muslim community by spreading lies and planning evil to disunite the Muslims, inciting hate, because of any personal reason or the other. You are NOT following the SALAF, you are simply a DESTROYER.

C. You go around judging yourself because of your nearly Islamic physical appearance. And you look down on other Muslims and also slander about them just to defame them and to show to the world that you a better of. You are NOT following the path of the Salaf. You are simply following the Shaytan. Who also claimed he was better than Prophet Adam( May Allaah bless him).

d. Putting the name "Assalafi" in addition to your name on the social media, or by using some uncommon Islamic terms or names on your profile, does NOT make you to be following the manhaj of the Salaf.

Salafiyyah is NOT what you rant about, you DON'T rant it, you ACT it to the extent that people would love ISLAM and NOT the attention you are seeking. Because, in the end, ISLAM is the goal.
