Altletico Nacional has requested that bereaved Brazilian club Chapecoense should be crowned as the copa sudamericana champions, despite the finals not being played. According to goal.com. Chapecoense interim president Ivan Tozzo confirmed the developements during the weekend, that the decision had been made following a formal request from Atletico Nacional, who had been due to face Chapecoense in the final of the competition.
