I'm of the opinion that your travel date is still way far, which means checking now and not buying anytime soon might just be a waste of effort.

Also, fares could change, so I may want to check again for you when you are really ready to buy your tickets.

Hi,

Truthfully, there are advantages and disadvantages of buying your flight tickets online, especially from a Nigerian website. I think,( but I don't guarantee them) , wakanow is trying according to what I use to hear. Some people could take the risk of buying online from a Nigerian site while some WILL never want to risk it.

Our Nigerian factor could set in anytime, you could purchase your ticket online, and the next thing, you get to the airport and to be told your ticket no is not in the system. LOL. How ridiculous could that be!

You could experience an unforeseen circumstance and decide to change your travel date, but when you call the online site to be told you would be paying x2 of your ticket due to one reason or another. Anything could just happen sha!

Similar things could happen when you visit or call a physical travel agency too. Some agents are not professional enough. Some agents could run away with your money, some could book you on very frustrating long stopovers when there are short stops of like 1hr or 2hrs, you may want to change your travel date and they start giving you big prices.

In a nutshell, before you book your ticket,

1. don't be too stingy, that is, looking for ridiculously cheap fares, you may end up falling prey.

2. let your agent or online travel site be recommended to you by a well known person whom you can hold responsible in case anything goes wrong.

3. always book ahead of time. For instance, we are approaching summer already and I expect summer travelers to have gotten or about getting their tickets by now! If I tell you what summer tickets (July / August) are saying on certain US, Canada, UK routes now, your jaw will drop. LOL.

4. always have flexible travel dates.

I think I have answer your question. Additional contributions may be added by frequent travelers pls.

As you can see, these fares are on the high side. My advice is to break your itinerary. Book your flight from Lagos to New York City, and then from New York to Baltimore (All round trip).
