Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Omoni Oboli has taken her time to slam Y!Naija for adding her movie, 'Wives On Strike' to the list of worst movies in 2016.

The movie which just bagged a nomination for 2017 AMVCA, was heavily criticised and tagged a let down. The mother of three didn't let the comment slide with a warning that they should never call her bae, since they can't support her...

I don't understand, criticism is not welcomed in the movie industry?? Calm down honnie bonnie, even the best of the best movies still get criticised or dumped in the trashcan by some viewers!! No point acting all crazy

#Omonifam does she own a farm tho haha,by the way this is a movie presented to the audience,so they should expect everybody that watches it to keep quiet or when you watch terminator wont you place your own review on the film based on your perspective, everybody does'nt see things the same way so why she mad?

You say u are a professional in the entertainment business but still, you can not withstand a criticism.

Be it a bad or good one, criticism is criticism and if Omoni can not take one, she should retire and stop putting out works. Criticism is the very soul of arts.

In the Western world, people even pay critics so say something be it good or bad about their works.

Nigerian actors, movie producers and directors hate the truth, they always like people to lick their hands and say good even when it's bad.

the thing sef tire me, no one wants to be criticized, imagine she saying don't call me bae if u can't support me, so if u put out something mediocre, I shouldn't criticize it, I should support mediocrity.
Even nice Hollywood movies gets criticized.

Nigerians are their own problem.

Well my dear, it so unprofessional of you, am even disappointed sef, So why are there wesite like rotten tomatoes, and www.metacritic.com?Even Fast and Furious and VERY big budget movies get criticize, so who da f are you? Criticism should be welcomed it shows reviewers really cared, and besides most popular movies get to be criticized... It highlights the low and high of the movie from a professional view, most times you get criticized for repeating what has been seen before, twisted story line, nonrealistic drama etc. .... Just deal with it
