Will Smith latest movie Collateral Beauty which had already suffered from bad press from fans and critics has been hit by another disaster.

Collateral beauty has successfully given Will Smith his worst debut in his career. Quite painful.

The movie, which had lots of big names which includes: Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren and Kate Winslet, opened to a paltry $7 million in ticket sales for the weekend.

The movie ended in the fourth place at the US box office behind Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which took in over $155 million during the weekend.

The plot of the movie centres around an advertising man, played by Will Smith, who writes letters to Time, Death and Love in order to seek help after the death of his child.

The movie was also beaten by comedy, Office Christmas Party and Disney’s animation, Moana.

The under performance of Collateral Beauty is another Christmas blow for Will Smith after Concussion, which had a low opening debut of $10.5 million last year.

Not all his lost for Will Smith as this year saw him appear in on e of the top-grossing movie for the year.

Suicide Squad made over $325 million this summer despite some harsh reviews. Will Smith turned down the opportunity to appear in Independence Day for Suicide Squad. A decision which was brilliant.
