On the 24th of Dec/2016 around about 8:15 PM, I was strolling on my street, every where was bright( NEPA pity us sha..). All of a sudden, I heard a lady screaming" thief! Thief! My phone o!, help me catch am". She was running after the supposed thief. I was standing some metres away from them and I was at the opposite side of d street, which was the thief's only escape route, in fact I was at d right place at d right time to catch the thief and save the day, and become a hero. My mind was made up to catch the thief. As the thief approached, my mind grow stronger and stronger. Some people was just watching to see how I would stop the thief and I was just calculating the right second to dive the thief to the ground a wait for people to come. That spilt second finally came and just as I was about to grab the thief, I heard the Nigerian National anthem( Probably someone was watching RSTV and they were singing it or it was playing I my head) but all I could remember is dat, I heard the national anthem and I did what every patriotic citizen would do, I stood at attention without blinking or moving any part of my body. By the time the anthem was over, the thief had already fled... I was xo xo sad... so tell me if am a patriotic citizen or not because that is the only thing that can console me right now. NB: the people on d street and the lady are feeling disappointed in me...
