as my phone kept on ringing, i was kinda confused, i didnt know if i was to pick the call or to ignore but james knowing that if i ignored the call again that chinedu will feel like we are still keeping him in the dark, told me to pick the call, so i picked. hello, irene greeted, baby how re u, i responded, she threw a direct question asking me where i was that she wants to see me urgently,i told her am at home, she said she was coming over immediately. well, in my mind, something has gone wrong and my first suspicion was buchy, the guy we chased out from our house ealier,so many thoughts came across my mind that minute, thoughts like has buchy gone to tell irene about me and my cousin chinedu, or even tell her that we knew each other, these things were bothering me because i was kinda feeling that the day she gets to know all these things, then we are done for real.

NOTE: Men, including myself hate to be dumped by even an olosho, we rather prefer to be the one doing the dumping cos who feels the pain in any kind of breakup most is the person dumped not the dumpee so thats one of the main reasons why i was bothered, secondly i wasnt ready yet to dismiss her, i was equally getting addicted to her somehow but this truth was only known by me, even james believed that i dont give any fvck about irene, somehow that was true because i knew it will never last for long, but somehow it isnt since i was still enjoying the sex part with her

james seeing the look on my face asked me, oboiy wetin,,why ur face dey like dat ? i replied him, irene say im dey come nw nw oh,,,james smiled and said, na im make ur face change ? chinedu na guy man, relax nothing dey happen,he said,,,,,,,well at that point i couldnt conceal whats on my mind again, so i told him, that its not about chinedu casting the show that its about the way she was talking, its like that buchy guy has spoilt show for us already, james laughed again and told me, even if he has kwanu, whats there to lose, make she go sef, her matter no good. james continued, if she come just comport yourself and act like nothing is going on lets see what happens. chinedu was just silent all these while but because of the issue at hand none of us was able to read through his facial expression that he was feeling depressed from the whole scenario.
30 mins later irene called again that she was in front of our house, james told me to go that he will be staying at the beer parlour with chinedu to wait for me.

fastforward to when i went to meet irene standing infront of our house, i hugged her and asked her if there was any problem from the way she was sounding on the phone, she teased me telling me that she was pregnant, i jokingly told her that, thats a good news, she laughed and told me to go joor, that if it was true now i will start running helter skelter. we went inside and after some naughty chat between me and her we started our lovemaking again.

NOTE; mind you that james and chinedu were waiting for me to come tell them exactly what she came for but there i was smashing her in my room,,,i guess the alcohol we were taking got the better side of me

i was so lost in the lovemaking that i even forgot that people were waiting for me, after some time of not seeing me james decided to call my fone, in which i was not picking, when irene asked me who was calling me, i told her not to mind my useless engineer thats always disturbing me for money, that he thinks that money grows on trees. i was yet to finish my sentence when i heard james and chinedu laughing sporadically inside the compound, i felt really stupid not to have told em whats really going on, because if they had known i was bangin her in the house, they wouldnt have come back by that time, irene noticing that my mood changed slightly asked me whats wrong, i told her nothing, that her big bakasi is whats making me tired, she smiled and asked me who is making who tired ? that she should be the one complaining. i told her i was coming then went outside to inform james and chinedu that she is in the house, on reaching outside i saw only chinedu sitting on the pavements, i asked him, where is james?, he told me his babe also came around that he is in the room with her, i knew at that moment that i needed to act fast before things got out of hand, so i told chinedu lets talk outside the gate, he followed me outside then i told him that irene is inside the room and it wont be good if she sees him, he said okay, and left for the beer parlour again. i went back into the room and had a last round for the day,,,,as we were now resting after taking a shower together, chinedu,s call came into irenes phone, she didnt pick, he called her like another 3 times, then i asked her why she is not picking, she said that its not important that its one jonzin guy from village thats calling her, i insisted that i see the name of the caller, the name of the caller was "EDU WAEC" i didnt realise it was my own chinedu until when i saw the last two digits that ended the number that was i realised it was my cousin chinedu that was calling her, besides i didnt even imagine that chinedu will be that dumb to call her when he knew i was with her, i didnt want to start asking her anything about chinedu so i just told her to dress up and lets go, in my mind i just needed to take her away from that house before things got messy. truly truly i was right things did get messy but thank God i had sent irene back to her hostel by then,,,so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,stay tuned

there was no fuel in the car so i had to lie to Irene that the car had some faults and that i had called my mechanic to come pick it up for repair tomorrow.
we boarded a keke that will drop us at the school gate where we can now take unn shuttle to her hostel. on reaching inside the school, she said she was hungry and needed to eat because she was tired and cant cook again, we went to SUB(an eatery in unn) to eat rice and chicken, thank God i had 1k left after paying for the transports fee. we finished eating and was strolling towards her hostel when we met prisca in company of 3 girls looking all flashy with the brazillian wigs that fhey were wearing.
my heart skipped a bit but i comported myself and even reached out to hold irenes hand so that it wont look like am hiding anything from her.
i was expecting her to even greet us but i was shocked when she hugged and greeted irene and even snubbed me completely, waoh,my mind was busy trying to figure out if it was the same prisca who thrashed irene in my presence not too long ago that is now here hugging her and calling her sweet names and showering her with praises like honey,sweety u looking good,baby idi ok or if it was the same prisca that said she couldnt get enough of me,,,or was it all in a dream ? i was so lost in my thoughts and imagination that i didnt even know that i was still moving and had left irene and her colleagues. hmm, i was so confused and my mind was filled with noise cos i wasnt hearing anything happening around me until when irene called me and said i should pls wait for her na, i stopped and was waiting fro her while she was coming towards me but i have never felt that way in my life, well i guess its all part of what a man must learn not to trust the smiles of humans cos their heart might be evil whereas they are smiling with you. irene met me and was like didnt you see my bestie? i said which one, she said the one on a red top,she was at my bday na, i said okay i didnt recognise her but in my mind i was like bestie ko bestie ni,, you know am feeling so dizzy and tired, i dont even have the strength to greet people now, i just need to see u off to your hostel and go home straight to catch some sleep. she said okay, you will be fine, i said thanks,i was happy that her series of question with regards to why i didnt greet prisca was over.

when we got to her hostel, i bade her farewell and told her to call me tomorow and left the hostel.
on reaching the junction close to my house i was praying to GOD that i have already seen enough drama today and dont wish to see more.
i dialled james number he was not picking, anyway i wasnt even expecting him to i knew i was just trying my luck, cos anytime a woman visits him its always a do or die affair. the shuttle dropped me infront of my house and i realised that my legs where even too weak to move into the house cos my instincts already predicted that trouble is somewhere inside the house waiting for me, so i decided to divert my movement a little and went to the shop of one of our neighbours and started gisting with him waiting for james to finish before i venture into the house.
after 2 hrs of gisting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,stay tuned

after 2hrs of boring gists, my phone rang and it was james, he asked me "oboiy how far? am fine oh, where u dey,,i asked, he said he was inside the house about to escort somebody, he didnt want to tell me immediately that he was busy with his side chick, by the way he thought i was not around, i told him to see his visitor off and he should call me when he is back. i was still in the shop when i saw him put his girl on the bike and paid the bike man,he was about to go back inside the house when i called him and narrated the whole story to him, he was confused initially,he was confused with the fact that i was smashing irene and i couldnt even inform him,he was also surprised by the fact that chinedu actually called irenes number when he knew perfectly well that i was with her, he was confused as well, but i was more confused by the whole situation and that was why i had to rely on him.
after a while james started laughing, i asked him whats funny, he told me that there was serious problem and that we need to handle it carefully so that we dont cast our family name by fighting over a girl in our family house, i nodded in affirmation then asked him why he already concluded there was going to be a fight.
he told me that he saw chinedu sitting patiently at the sit-out and if what i told him is true that he was calling irene on the phone, then he is probably waiting for me and irene to come outside so irene could see him and it would have been a very ugly scenario,
NOTE: chinedu didnt know we had left the house because the car was still parked and i locked my door and left with the key, he probably thought we were still inside

so seeing the hundred percent truth in what james said, i realised why i always depend on him in times like this, he figure out puzzles faster than i do, but that notwithstanding i was asking myself what even made me to venture into this devilish activity that has eaten up my time, my little savings. and now my cordial relationship with my cousin because i knew that things wont be the same again from here.
when we entered the house,james padlocked the gate, chinedu seeing couldnt hide the disappointment in his face and he was sitted on the sofa with an unknown stranger,,,hmmm i knew something like this was about to happen that why my spirit told me not to go home
