This man has said it all. Americans will say...come and live here for life, we've got lots of goodies for you...work and live with your family, bla, bla, bla. In the name of lottery, they tell you you must not visit your home country as soon a you land in Yankee for a number of years. I know of a guy whose mum died. He travelled after winning American lottery but couldn't come home because he's not meant to leave US for some years. While Americans, britons, Germans could travel to their countries from Nigeria at least 2 times in a year, our people living in their country can't try it. Their work condition, laws, etc won't allow them. As soon as they're fully integrated into their people, they make sure your income is finished or deducted almost to nil before you earn it. They'd ensure you live up to a certain living standard. By the time you start raising kids, to send ordinary 100 bucks to your parents would become a problem, what a pity! Ask any of your relations living abroad to send you just 100 USD, that could probably be the last phone call they'd receive from you because not many of them are comfortable. I think our leaders too have a problem. They keep leaning on the whites for everything. They're so lazy that they can't set their people free from perpetual bondage. Go to any of their embassies and tell them you are going for business meetings that would draw investors to Nigeria. They'd think twice before they give you a visa because they know you're going to tap from their ideas and bring it to your people...and this could make us become less dependent on them. I thank God because I had a victorious battle with them on this. Nigeria said they're cutting off their crude business relationship from USA,facing Asian market and Asia is already jubilating for this move. Americans would never be happy with that. They know they won't have any control over our oil and it's price anymore hence, the need to fire propaganda about us that could cause chaos amongst our leaders and people. Any country they see progress, is always a threat to them and they'd do their best to bring her down, to enable them keep dominating. We ran to them for help on ebola drug but they turned us down. But when Nigerian medics recorded feats by curbing it with their remedy, they became agitated and restless...they saw this as a slap on their faces. They sent a group of medics to Nigeria to find out how this achievement was made. That's America for you. Some of our Medical researchers now claim to have got cures for certain dreaded diseases but because the achievement isn't from them, they frustrated them. It's high time we started producing our own thing and stopped depending on them. This video recorded by the german had said it all...We're differently wired and so, they can never reveal their secrets to us....we need to rise to this challenge and start doing something. Once they discover an exceptional black guy or lady, they hijack him/her so the knowledge could be useful or restricted to their people alone. The black could be rendered useless eventually. If they see any black challenging them by competing with them on ideas and affluence, they cook up a propaganda or scandalous story to bring him/her out of fame....whereas, they're not saints themselves. The moment a western country got to know we've commenced manufacturing our own consumables here in Nigeria due to proximity to raw materials, they tried all they could frustrate us with international policies but we succeeded in the end. They used to be our partner but the day we told them we would end the partnership, they almost went to court. We designed our machines ourselves through a yaba tech guy who travelled overseas to broaden his knowledge in something related to our field. We hired him and produced much better products after his input. I'm not saying it's not good to visit their country but we must shine our eyes and bring back new ideas instead of staying put in their country and allow them use us like modern slaves perpetually. Whatever you earn while working for them, it would be 'chicken change' by the time you've arrived or are established fully on your inventions here because we're the same who always consume their products. Apple, Microsoft, samsung, etc will publish their annual reports without taking into consideration, sales generated from africa...whereas, they can't do without us, directly or indirectly...especially, we nigerians...That's disgrace man! It was mark Zuckerberg who acknowledged our contribution to his wealth and said, he must visit that country called nigeria...That's wisdom but we must not be carried away by this. I had an uncle who once left for USA in the early 90s. He was working as a casual staff in a manufacturing company. On his way back home everyday he'd pick papers and read at vendor's booth. One day, he saw an advert on solar inverter and wrote them for agency in Nigeria to address our epileptic power challenges. He was turned down for two reasons...that he's an African and also that he's from Sahara africa where they weren't interested in entrenched their tentacles to. He was sad after reading the mail sent to him by the company. A few months later he wrote to them again...they now invited him for interview on why he wanted to sell their technology in subsaharan africa. In a nut shell, he was able to convince them and they trained him for 3 months. He resigned from his employment and the fellow nigerians and colleagues working in same company with him then said he's been bewitched. This guy came back home to install demos in some financial institutions in Nigeria. The rest was history. This same man was awarded the global distributor of the year many times by the American firm who once rejected his proposal. When the ATM revolution erupted in Nigeria, this man was just smiling to the bank daily. He's one of the African successful businessmen of the decade. Those nigerians who mocked him back then are now in shame because they can't even come back home. Life is more than wearing chains, wearing good clothes and living a luxury lifestyle that will soon become a passing whim...it's good to have good business ideas and invest...That's where the whites have an edge. One day on a street of newyork, I sat down to observe people as they passed. The most dressed fellas amongst them were blacks... ask them how much do they have in their bank account or their worth...That's where stories would start. Arise oh nigerians, arise oh africa and free yourselves from these guys called whites. I'm not sounding like a racist though...I admire whites but we need to emulate their 'can do' spirit and stop being stooges and being spoonfed by them.

Well if for anything, the fake report only indicted NNPC, no where did it said buhari have any firsthand knowledge of the gross corruption that is happening there.
Lol,buhari defender, but you never noticed that sanusi's $49b which later became $30b and later $20b and later $1.5b had nothing to do with Jonathan when you were accusing him, even sanusi said NNPC has not remmited but you and your fellow rumor mongers started accusing Jonah with it but now you have learnt to act properly abi? apc hypocrite.

The thing with most of you commentators is that you don't even have the slightest hint about what the report was saying. Is not an indictment on buhari, is not saying buhari's hands are dirty neither have we seen were buhari was accused of collaborating with some board members in NNPC to siphone some money.

The report clearly stated how some reforms by buhari is rooting out corruption in NNPC. You guys don't understand basic things and that's my number one problem with you.

I don't know where you guys are heading to or why you are desperately and shamelessly trying to twist this report in such a way that buhari will be painted as the cuprit.

They can believe anything and that's why we always look like 'second-rated' among other countries known for their high level of intelligence. Militancy has been the order of the day since the government took office last year. Where did the revenue come from...the moon? To which reputable organisation was this report credited....world bank Bank, IMF? The report can be deciphered only by intelligent fellows.

When you are given a green card, you are also given a period of 3 years out of 5 to stay in order to convert you to a citizen. If you fail to spend 3 years out of 5 in their country, you may be given another chance and if you fail again, they would have to strip you of the green card.
Once you become their citizen, you can travel anywhere you like and you can stay outside their country as long as you want.

for your information, I'm not fan of PMB, I downloaded the report on the wesite, read it back to back....its fake a long as it's not credited to the world bank or IMF. Everybody is entitled to his/her opinion and so, how on earth can I attack you? My problems with Nigerian youths which also make their counterparts across the globe make them laughing stocks is that, they believe everything seen or written online, without trying to decipher the legitimacy of the source and the appropriate organisations in charge of such info. Last year, it was trending online that aisha buhari was wanted in the USA for her involvement in the harliburton sandal. Everybody was jubilating. My illiterate governor fayose hiself was even using the report as an attacking tool here and there. I discredited the report, because it wasn't from a legitimate source. Fayose was even daring aisha to visit USA. The innocent lady had visited USA after the report and not even an ordinary fly pinched her while she was away in the USA and the whole story died down. America at some point cleared her and everybody kept mum. I came back here to deride those gullible youths who were too lazy to make findings. If Sahara reporters could lie, what makes premium times an exception? Under Jonathan, there were IMF and world bank reports on crude sales in Nigeria by the nnpc. Why not wait until we hear from the horse's mouth before you start jubilating?

Please don't try and deviate. You lied plain and simple. Now let me school you. Even if you haven't received your greencard after landing, you can get your passport stamped for emergency travel. As a permanent resident, you can travel anytime you want. The only stipulation is that you do not stay outside for unnecessarily long periods. This is common sense. Otherwise, people would come in get their green cards and return to their home countries. If you do not want to be a US permanent resident, why did you "play" the lottery. You cannot say you are a US permanent resident and then decide to travel out for more than 1year. The exception is if it is job related, otherwise, you are termed as having abandoned your permanent residence. Please google the term permanent residence if you don't understand. IF you don't want to be a permanent resident, you can surrender it and start obtaining VISAS for crying out loud.

At bolded,
Are you intentionally being silly? You want to compare travel rights due American citizens with permanent residents? If you are a permanent resident of a country, why would you need to travel out for several years to establish a business in another country? Obviously that other country is your real permanent residence. Anyway, it's a waste time dragging this. My previous point stands, you or your friend LIED. Nothing prevented him from travelling home to naija as a permanent resident to be at the funeral.

I understand all you explained. I'm not deviating in anyway. The simple truth is, if you're a citizen of a country, you reserve the right to travel anytime you choose without restrictions. I'm a proud citizen of Nigeria for instance, I may decide to be away on a long business vacation or otherwise, for as long as I wish without anybody querying me. Tell a permanent resident or a green card holder to travel out of USA for a period beyond 6 months and see what would happen thereafter. A permanent resident doesn't enjoy the same level of unhindered movement and stay like an American citizen. Anything whatsoever. I do tell my brother this each time I touch his side during my visit and he agrees with me at some point. He got a job at SAIPEM Nigeria but couldn't come. You don't have to educate me on anything, neither do I need to Google anything. If you ask me, you're the one being silly deliberately here because you don't seem to decipher what it means to enjoy rights to unrestricted movement. Anything short of this is advanced slavery
