I'm a 18 year old young man who has no dire interest in football and is very naïve at it!(I'm hating myself for it). All my guys and friends are into it. All men are into it like it a natural thing. Since I was a little child I hated football, though it was only once or twice I knew I had a little keen interest b4 it died down. Now I'm gaining more interest but don't know where to begin from. I don't know about footbal formations, the players and not to talk of the clubs(not that I don't know them but just few) and though I'm a fan a chelsea (chelsea 4 life). My friends and guys talk about football, things like "wetin dey play yesterday na?" Or "wetin be scores?" Me go con dey do like as if I dey watch am and still con dey add mouth 4 wetin I no knw. I go dey form dey pretend say I dey watch am(so as for them not to yab me). Dais mai life... Abeg advise, help and support me if you can!!!!!!

Some years ago, I would sit and watch all the weekend matches whenever I was at home for holz because I was a boarder. And I was like the sport mediator in my set then whenever there was agrument. Now, I can't sit out a whole 90mins without being bored out, when my guys are arguing now,am just passive in the argument not because I don't know but I don't feel the passion to talk about it.
My point is we grow past some of these things so don't feel the need to be among or feel left out. Watch for the love of it not so you can talk when others are talking. Finally, don't do the sport betting thing, it's addictive and not real worth it.

I thought as much too. I was also a boarder and I must say, your story corresponds with mine too. When my guys in school are talking about football matches or whatsoever, I. Just set myself aside when and because I have nothing to offer.

You don't have to conform to a status quo!! It's very important you get this into your heart cos as a teenager, you will be severally experience peer pressure.
Imagine you find yourself amidst pple that smoke heroine, and cos u don't want to be the odd one out join them!- u ll become addicted and ur life would be worse for it .

If you don't have an iota of interest in football lik me, just forget it. When pple ask, tell dm u don't watch ball. If u have some interest, u can bring ursef up to speed on d leagues, d players and formations!

No that from experience, betting is addictive and would alwayscause you more sadness than happiness. Everyone that goes into it always regrets it.
