am tryin to develop a biometric app using grfinger soon as i add the grfinger control on a form i get this funny errors i wuz wondering if any budy with exprience wit grfinger can help, a screenshop is attached with this message

The error is due to the new security features introduced in .NET 2.0 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa480472.aspx
This error is usually a sign that you have attempted to read data that does'nt exist. It can also arise when you attempt a procedure for which you don't have the required CAS permissions (full trust, medium trust etc).

I very strongly suspect that your issue is tied with the variable "m_Finger". That would be the first place I would look.

Go through the following checks;

1. That Visual Studio is running with an account that has powerful enough permissions.
2. You are an Administrator on your computer.
3. Your software license is activated.
4. All software dependences are installed (check if it works on some machines only).
5. If you are using Oracle, check that the DataProvider is the right version (if you are using versions 10.1 or 11.1, try 9.2).

The problem lies in one of these.

i've been able to solve this problem, all i did was to download a later version of a dll from the grfinger website and replace it with the oldone and it went well.
