Basic Functions of the Role
• Carry out systems administrative duties which includes but is not limited to maintenance and minor repairs of hardware, setup and installation of PC units and other administrative tasks as required.
• Under the guidance of the HOD, the incumbent is expected to provide application support to staff and/or patients.
• Will serve as a Relevant contributor to ICT policies and strategies as developed and required by the department
• Verification, validation and certification of Information Communication Technology equipment;
• Configuration of new Information Communication Technology equipment.
• Maintaining support systems and training of users;
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Computer science, Software engineering, Computer engineering, or any other related field
• At least 2 years of relevant ICT experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Network Administration
• Hardware Maintenance
• Database Administration
• Server administration
Additional professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
