The story about the couple whose photographs appear below is that they lived abroad in the US for many years and had been sending money to the gentleman's brother in Nigeria who was meant to be assisting in supervising the construction of a building on their behalf.
They went home this Xmas to see how far the building works had progressed only to discover that they had been swindled ,no building and to further crown the treachery of the gentleman's brother, he laced their meal with poison which killed the couple instantly.

I respect the dead. I didn't disrespect them. The issue of their death was they were killed by poisoning. And at the end I said RIP.
Possibly the country Nigeria may not be certain. But the cause of their deaths were certain. It can happen anywhere in Africa. So no need bringing nationality into the equation.
Such scenarios have happened in Nigeria before. And mind you this story was gotten from a confidential source online.

Please let's respect the dead and learn one or two from their demise.
