I must say if the theory is that the Arctic is at the center and planets around it, it would make sense. The question on climate is simple. The sun(a much smaller sun) is going around clockwise illuminating different parts at a time. Land topography will obviously alter climate, and the atmosphere and other aspects of it still present.
