The good thing is that those duplicated cars by Chinese are cheaper, and since they have good roads.. that makes them durable in China..
don't try bringing it to a Nigeria road... you'll blame your ancestors.

Atleast they've gone places and become recognised amont TOP countries of the world, through their idea of copycating other products.. To me, its a thumbs up for them. Besides, the cars aren't looking bad

I wish my dear Nigeria can follow suit..
every model car in the world china have its own version ( copy ). China is great and greater than USA

There are serious international copyright laws on vehicle and other engineering designs Let's wait and see how Audi, Daimler Benz and Porsche react.

Me thinks these cloned cars have no wider market. should the Chinese comercialise production..doubt if they can be exported to any of the European markets

This is wrong. Taiwan had a very bad name for counterfeiting in the past that has not worn off today. Taiwan makes many high end goods but mostly as sub contractors because of its soiled reputation.

Your iPhone is actually manufactured by Foxconn, a Taiwanese company with over a million workers in China. It's China assembled by a Taiwanese company

Excuse sir, you don old o shocked cheesy
I was still in primary school, when I heard this Taiwan and fake product issue.
Infact some of our neighbours started calling me Taiwan because its close to my name.

My dad's friend still call me that till tomorrow.

Mo wa ooright. The world at large even the makers of Land Rovers and Range Rovers themselves know their products are utterly unreliable. So what's your question again? angry

The Chinese has always been good at copying, well it helps their economy ' cos everything used in China is virtually made by them, no country can really be mad at the Chinese because almost all the countries in the world go to China to manufacture one thing or the other, because of cheap cost of labour.

I would say the cars are not bad, I personally won't mind owning one of the Chinese "clones"

Since some senseless bigots are making degrading statements such as "Nigerians will never patronize Innoson because of the tribe the owner is from", "since the owner is an Igbo man, it will definitely be a fake product", "it will definitely be a death trap", etc, I trust my Igbo brothers to go partner with these Chinese companies, tell them to use the original name and logo of the companies they're copying from, and afterwards, flood the Nigerian market with these products. Then the same set of tribalistic fools will rush to go drive Chinese Porsche, Mercedes, etc, just to feel among. undecided

On topic, I didn't notice anything similar between that between that Jeep Liberty and your proposed copy. As for the Audi, both it and its copy look like twin with the brand logo/name being the finger/thumb print (which differs for every human being) and the rear light serving as only a slight variation which is almost always noticeable on twin siblings.. cheesy

Other copies actually look like the original.

These clone cars are only sold in China
Re: 5 Crazy Copycat Cars At A Chinese Auto Show by tunde2222: 8:40am On Jan 06, 2017
I don't think they are fake. Do you now Lexus RS 300 was sold as Toyota Harrier in some countries and that a Japanese designed it. The fact that d cars we see around here are more popular does not mean they are the originals. What if they are the ones cloning the japanese or Chinese cars. Remember media can do a lot

You're wise! If Nigeria borrowed a leaf from China, we wouldn't be in the quagmire we are today.
