GAZZUZZ:the injector cleaners tend to work. But I have noticed something similar amongst 5 users of that injector cleaner. It made their drive performance smoother thereby giving the impression that it cleared the impurities or blockades. But it also created this detonating (pinging or kra kra sound) sound on acceleration. I scanned 3 out of the 5 and got knock sensor code. These codes were not there before use of the cleaner. I personally don't use any additive but I use top shelf fuel. When I do need to clean I use Seafoam https://seafoamsales.com and it's the only product I use and recommend. |

olujaidi: From experience these 2 products leave behind residue which in turn block the fuel filter or strainer. Octane Booster has been found to stop pinging and clean nozzles thereby giving a cleaner burn |

chukel:Finally, i found the culprit for the knock sensor code P0330 on my Toyota Sienna 2001. I was persuaded by the attendants at the NNPC (along Iwo road/Ojo in Ibadan). Still battling to sort the issue.............  1 Like 1 Share |
