I just returned to my base after the Xmas holidays, a smooth Journey if u ask me dt I covered over 700km to and fro and other run arounds. Nw the problem I returned on 6th Jan and ever since I have been hearing some sound under my car cro cro cro as soon as I start the car and move slowly and it disappears and reappears intermittently once the car is moving slowly but disappears onces my speed gets to 80km/HR. I visited my mechanic and he said it's my two back bearings which I changed and spent 9k. After the change d noise reduced but it's still there he checked my shaft, front axle, timing belt and all n told me he can't find anything wrong with the car. I took it to a second mechanic and he drove it while I am in d car he heard the noise, later jacked the four tyre went under the car checked n checked but can't find anything wrong.

He nw said oga ignore the sound ur car is OK if it stops u anytime let me kw

I am nt jst comfortable d car moves fine nothing wrong in performance actually but I hear the sound occasionally I am suspecting my village ppl

Re tighten the subframe



Re- tighten the steering rack. Check and ensure exhaust is not touching body of vehicle in Any way.

Re tighten the subframe



Re- tighten the steering rack. Check and ensure exhaust is not touching body of vehicle in Any way.

My mechanic has checked all this all seem normal but I observed something d shock mount on d side I am hearing this noise is cracked/ broken slightly but my mechanic said it can't b d cause of d noise. What do u think I will upload pic soon

Update1: occassional cro cro cro sound remains still searching for solution

My mechanic has checked all ur suggested areas @ gazzuzz and seen nothing wrong but I noticed dt D front shock mount front passenger side is cracked/ broken. Do u think a cracked shock mount can be d cause BC my mechanic said d crack is nt dt much dt I can even use it for some time b4 replacing it.

Will upload d pic of d cracked shock mount soon,

I changed my two front shock mounts with toks in Nov 2016 n one is cracked already though it's d side I hit one average pot hole on 80km/hr speed I guess dts what cracked it.

Sth tells me to get d mechanic to check my back shock mounts tooo

Please explain specifically the conditions necessary for the noise to occur.


No noise when vehicle is static? Noise when vehicle hits certain speeds? Noise when driving on uneven roads? Noise when brakes are applied?


Now try this to rule out brake pads clearance/caliper issues drive over uneven roads with your left foot slightly depressing the brakes as you drive, is the noise still there?

Next drive over uneven roads without stepping on brakes.

Hear d sound when I am moving slowly 0 to 30km/hr n its occasional, irregular n almost unpredictable it sometimes feels like a tyre is loose but all tyres are properly tightened wacro wacro wacro then cro cro cro dts d sound n its under the car I hear d sound.

seems there is excessive clearance between your brakepads and the sides of the caliper that keep it in place.



Check and ensure your brake pads have the required anti rattle clips on them.

Now try this to rule out brake pads clearance/caliper issues drive over uneven roads with your left foot slightly depressing the brakes as you drive, is the noise still there?

As for the upper strut mount, it is clearly torn, but will not cause a rattle yet
