Omotoyosi Olanrewaju Ogunlende was born in 1979 an indigene of Lagos State, Nigeria. He bagged his first degree (HND) in Sculpture. Married and blessed with 2 boys. He worked briefly at Terra Kulture owned by Mrs Bolanle Austen Peters, one of the top leading female art patriot in Nigeria.

As an artist, Omotoyosi never practised as a full time studio artist, but was involved in the arts; consulting, facilitating, training and teaching.
Omotoyosi's love for children made him concentrate more on teaching/training them. As part time in different schools and summer camps. Engaging children in hands on arts and crafts activities.

Early 2016 February he attended the creative conference at the Art Scape Centre by design indaba in South Africa, where he tapped into String Art Patterns, which for him is his new found love. And it has been a privilege to have stringed the portraits of some notable Nigerians such as King Sunny Ade, Tuface Idibia, His Excellency Governor of Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Wole Soyinka to mention a few.
