Hope he will take this as a cue to bow out, he still can do it with grace... He will leave that seat, the only question is: "with how many innocent lives as collateral damage" ?

Mynd44 , Yahaya is going, going gone......

cc... Lalasticlala

Anybody dumb enough to fight to defend Jammed deserve to die. My only worry would be ordinary people; peasants, women and children who don't know anything about the government and politics dying in the process.

Is it that you don't understand how the quote button works??

His post has been hidden yet in your wisdom you had to quote him and make his childish stay relevant

I know Jammeh does not want to leave the presidency sit, but I feel, court and ECOWAS shud give this guy a listening ear na.
Wat if he is right?? Wat if the election was compromised??
This is Africa, anything is possible

Emes, he may be right. The election may have been rigged. But you have ruled a nation for 21years and you want to keep on ruling. That's wickedness.

Using force to remove him will create suspicion and enmity that will take years to resolve like we saw in Ivory Coast where soldiers who helped Ouattara to power are holding him to ransom with mutiny or in Libya which is still at war.
Portugal did not have a Govt for several months and EU never invaded them.
Ukraine is still in crisis after EU and US forcefully removed Victor Yanukovic while Yugoslavia was decided into several countries after NATO invaded, Iraq is still in turmoil after America invaded.
West Africa should not be pushed into a situation that would complicate issues further by western Govts, there should be an African mechanism for dealing with issues like this. What happened to the ECOWAS court which Buhari has made irrelevant because he has not himself obeyed any of their injunctions against him.

After he blocked the international community from observing the election? After he claimed the election to be free from rigging? After he had conceded defeat & congratulated his opponent? Abeg make that Jammeh swerve enter Atlantic Ocean. Make im no comot dt seat of presidency afta im tenure don end. Na either Hague or coffin im go enta.

Abegi! Show of severe force is wt is needed. Dem don beg am, im still no wan comot, wetin remain again? U wnt make dem allow am 2 continue 2 dey rule? Na im papa own d coun3? Shld tyranny be allowed to go on because of fear of destabilizing d coun3? IMO Jammeh has already destabilized d Gambia by trying 2 annul d election so any action carried out 2 remove him is justified.
