I'm an audiologist by profession, the summary is that it may lead to perforation of tympanic membrane (ear drum) which may require sugary or medication. it also push those wax back to cover your tympanic membrane which collect sound from your Pinner & take it to the inner ear through ossicles & then to the brain for the interpretation of the sound collect. it may lead to severe/profound conductive hearing loss.
Note, never use anything to clean your ear for those wax are important, they are not dirt.

boss, I have tinnitus and i've been having pains in my ears whenever I listen to loud music and its driving me crazy, I don't have any significant
