Katsina state government has signed a contract agreement with a private company in the quest to build another set of 2000 houses in the state.

This was disclosed by the state head of service Sanda Mani in his office at the state secretariat complex.
He said the state government has signed the MOU with the private company under the leadership of one Chief Ben Oranusi.

The head of service said this is another milestone in alignment with the outcome of the offshore investment and economic summit held in Katsina last year.
He further added that all arrangement has been completed and work will commence by the end of this month.

But the Head of service has failed to name where these houses will be situated and at what prize/cost will the company construct the houses.
The Managing Director Katsina state housing authority Alh. Salisu urged the company to build decent house sof high quality in line with the culture and religion of people in the state.

He assured full support to the company over their time duration of work in the state.
