Hermes, found in a secondhand shop in Dulwich Village (nearly died, paid the asking price £50) strap missing not sure if I should put a heavy chain strap or what.

Yes darling that's the 2nd time I have come across a Hermes in a secondhand shop, the 1st was a bit battered but I still managed to sell for a £400, THE EVELYN style.I took them both to the workshop in Paris to get them renovated but the charge to replace strap was too much

This one I will keep, unless life or death, I collect Crocodile so it will take alot for me to part with it, I have put a crocodile strap on this but not sure about the look, would you replace with a heavy chain strap?

Chain strap yes,heavy no it might end up looking tacky,just a nice sizeable strap dat fits@chaircover that bag is mine i am coming after u.

@chaircover, not sure how much that's in pounds sterling, but great find. Nothing beats finding something like that, way better than paying the full price.

IS THIS TOPIC FOR REAL bags for $1,000 - come on now how many people can really afford that in nigeria or in the UK for that matter.

i mean come on we are in a recession and after paying ur bills can u really go to selfridges and part with £700 for a handbag when u have a mortgage to pay for.

anyway if you all have that kind of money - i envy you. i'll stick to waiting for the sales to buy my handbags (gosh i am soooooooooooo waiting for boxing day!!!!!!!!!!!)

@redsky1 I agree with you. I also sell off items on Ebay and another bag/vintage site, if you have good feedback you get repeat customers so they know your items are kosher.
I have only ever lost money on my LV Drougout, and to be honest I only bought that because I wanted  a bag I could wear across my body,under my coat.

I love bags but I  do not buy that many for myself, mainly buy for resale so always do the sales and Sotherby's.

All bags were amazing. Yet now I don't have a picture to post but most of my collection includes replica brands as it has got best look, designs and colours.
