This is no trick. It's true. Whether it is supernatural or not is another matter.

I have been on this section for a while. No explanation would suffice for one who is willfully closed-minded. The already ridiculous attempt at explanation that 'the man might have filled his mouth with the pins' is enough proof that whatever you attempt to say will be an exercise in futility.

Yes he could be one of the sellers, but how come what you think he might be selling make one sick and also heal the person

Dear Mr Seun, Atheist, free thinkers and my Fellow Theists.
I noticed Seun and his gang(atheist) has totally decided to debunk anything that claims to prove the existence of God/god . I feel maybe they haven't come across any reason to believe his existence .

So please give an explanation to this. When I was about 10-11 years old during the Christmas season, our family traveled down to spend the Christmas in the Village. Igbo- Ukwu in Anambra State. ( I am giving the location so people with similar experience can share)

Just like every Chrismas holiday, its a time to play ,meet friends, greet grand parents and visit and get visited .
One evening, I just got sick, I had head ache, stomach upset, feeling cold on the outside but feeling hot inside of me. I could barely stand on my feet,i could not eat, I could not hear clearly .
My Mum went to the nearest pharmacy to get me Drugs to take but it literally caused no change.  My grandmother and her neighbors seems to know the cause already as they plan to take me there the next day.

The next day I was so unconscious that I was carried to location for the ''Treatment'' I could remember there are lots of people about 50+ waiting to to be treated of similar situation.
When it got to my turn ,i entered the room it was empty just a table and a seat. The Man in the room is of average age 28-30, dressed normal, no red or black decorations just simple rented room, table and seat.

He asked me to take my cloth Off. Then he start touching from my Head to my feet as if he is looking for something. At first I was confusing, like is that how I will be healed?  Then he stopped on my forehead, dragged my head closer to him, kissed my forehead and then he brought out something out from his mouth. ( The lead inside pencil, but little sizes, igbo calls it ntutu )  he continued feeling my body again and sucked more of the pins  out.

Almost immediately I was healed. I didn't take the drugs anymore. I went back home immediately playing as if I was never ill.

According to the other people , if an affected victim decides to Go to the hospital to take treatment and Injection is used on the person, Death is Guaranteed.

To repel the pins from entering your Body, you should have safety pins pined to your cloth so it can have contact with the Body.

Other methods of removal is the specialist sucking it out, hiting it out with his hand or an object .I still cannot tell how they implant it into the body.

I know one might doubt that since I was unconscious how did I know what he was doing. Simple ,before we traveled back to Lagos, we all went for check-up and once more, Yours sincerely has some more in his body. There I saw him clearly suck the pins out of my body and sister.

I am sure there are people who have related experience, please do share . I will like to see how Seun and his gang will debunk this. I am open of questions.

Your story is somehow not very real, lies put together or should I say you talked about the parts you remembered (and I guess u skipd some parts also)

I believe you talking about susuk(charm needles as known by many)
A doctor(except quack) can never inject u in quest to cure or remove susuk rather surgery will be performed after x-ray.

susuk is very rare and few that knows about it uses the advantage to set trap for others

Their is nothing spiritual about this.

Proudly atheist

@winetapper,

That u don't understand how things work does not make it spiritual.. the healer u talk about knows his act and would probably prefer u think he has some supernatural power (so many humans enjoy being seen as super humans, even the so called ordinary pastors).
This is the difference with medical doctors. Imagine if the doctors were not as open with their method, just as our traditional fore fathers saw he white. Imagine having malaria and a doctor's gives u some round white chalks and u take them according to prescibtion... Isn't that magic/spiritual enough?
Trust me most traditional healers even think the are spiritual but know their process is systematic... Giving away their process will reduce the respect and rever u have for them.
Imagine the ordinary way we look at doctors who have healed millions with their knowledge but because they are open, we think they are just ordinary.
Trust me if the healer exposes his act to u, u will marvel.

My advice for u... It is very very wrong to assume what u dontunderstand as spiritual. this style kills ur curiosity and marks u gullible.

Thanks.

The OP specifically asked us to provide a naturalistic explanation of his story and that is precisely what we are doing.

The already ridiculous attempt at explanation that 'the man might have filled his mouth with the pins'
Is it really less ridiculous to assert that the graphite pins were sucked out of his body into the man's mouth but somehow he experienced no pain and didn't feel the pins leaving his body and there were no holes where they were sucked out from, and no blood on the pins?

I wasn't there an am not a doctor. However I've never actually seen a miracle like this replicated in a laboratory in front of scientists; therefore, I must conclude that there was some trick, and that you recovered on your own. People do often get better on their own.

Obviously, this shit can't be repeated in a controlled environment. The annoying part of this whole story is that it is the O.Ps defense, or is it proof? for the existence of god. SMH.

I also know someone from Ebonyi who has experienced exactly the same thing as the OP. Do you really believe that all the healers stuff their mouth with pins? Seriously, if you really want to know the truth, take a trip to any village in Eastern Nigeria and get yourself 'injected'. Leave and go to a hospital if/when you start experiencing symptoms. Failure to do this makes everything you say here sound like a joke to me.

No one is saying these things don't happen... But are they supernatural becasue we don't understand them? Is it safe to call any phenomenom we don't understand spiritual... Seriously, how does tagging unclear evens spiritual help us?
To me, it's safe to probably assume that there is a process that is yet clear to us... But calling it spiritual does not help us in anyway... God the healers process works but as long as he keep is secret, that's what it will remain but that does not make it spiritual because calling it spiritual...Is completely senseless and gullible, and keeps our knowledge stagnant.
If that is how u love to think, good for u.. but if u are open minded, u will really not think this way

So you didn't get the part where he said he didn't understand it? You are asking for an explanation just in case there is none, you'd then tag the event "spiritual"... oshe!

Op, do you know what they call 'werepe'? if your body gets in contact with it, you will nearly scratch yourself to the bone marrow, yet there isn't anything spiritual about it. They also suck snake poisons out of people, OP, yet it isn't spiritual or a proof of a god. God needs no proof. He is the UNIVERSE we all see(OMNIPRESENT).

What's your explanation for someone being able to communicate with another person thousands of miles away from, cos science explained possibilities and you were able to see clearly that magic wasn't involved.

You lazy guys should focus more on research in order to upgrade the brain rather than channeling all energy on beliefs.

So I made an impossible computer hack, and then steal upto a 100billion once.. Of course people won't understand how I did it, so because they don't understand and I told them it was spiritual, so are they supposed to take my word for it? And mind you, we've given possible explanations to the "graphite removal" from his body..

How do something come out of your body without you feeling it and without it even containing blood? His healing might be psychological, cuz I remember once when I had a sharp head ache, I placed my hands on my head and said "God heal me" (I strongly believed), and the headache disappeared! All this happened because I believed! Beliefs can really go a long way in modifying our realities... cool

I can only suggest possible explanations but I may be wrong... But there is much I don't know.
How ever I can't call it spiritual because that is another name for I don't know. People call things spiritual like it's an answer, but really it's not, it leave so many open ends.

I will comfortably assume that there is a process the healer knows that I don't... I just lack knowledge in his process, that does not make it spiritual, calling for spiritual still leaves me in the same position.

They call it spiritual and leave open ended questions... That's how our forefathers called themselves spiritual and the white came and their wall crumbled.

If they called it spiritual, how has it helped in understanding the situation. Here is the op who was healed looking for relevant possible explanations despite knowing it's spiritual...

Do people ask such questions after going through even something as complications heart surgery?

If we all accept there is a spiritual healing process... What more can we do with it? Why are those spiritual healers relegated in the rural areas...? How can we expand the knowledge to help humanity? Or must it remain secret?
