as a matter of fact the ''Ten commandments'' was a guardian guarding and looking after men until Christ came (i.e. Galatians 3:24 below)

Grace is instruction
Grace has detailed information about how something should be done
and that exactly, is what Titus 2:11-12 is saying about grace
Grace is a guide, grace is a teacher,
It is with and/or by the grace of God, that you'll know how and what to do etcetera

Grace entails goodness of God.cos we are in the era of grace doesn't mean the commandments cannot be instructions.

Remember the word of the lord stands sure.

The ten commandment is a spiritual mirror to show you that you are out of shape. Jesus Christ makes you righteous. when you have Jesus Christ and the holy spirit lives in you, you don't need the 10 commandments anymore because you now do things as the spirit leads.
If you live by the 10 commandments, then you are still being subdued by the flesh

10 commandment cannot cover that.

Its a guide....just like the lords prayer is a guide too. Na wa for people o. There are still many dos and donts after moses gave them 10 commandments.

I'm utterly shocked reading the responses of some people to this beautiful write up.Im also amazed that some dont know the meaning of the gospel as well as grace.The Bible makes it clear that it is only the Gospel and grace that can really change the hearts of men -trying to keep the commandments by your own strength will NOT ".........for i am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ ;for it is the power of God unto salvation ........."

What does this verse mean ?
It means the only thing that has the power to save men and to trully change their hearts is the Gospel of grace .The writer does not in anyway encourage anyone to sin .As a matter of fact ,grace does not make One to sin but empowers one NOT to sin.

It is very difficult for me to go all out to hurt my benefactor .If i 've come to the full understanding of what Christ did for me on the cross , His love and sacrifice ,then i'll be an ingrate if i continue to sin wilfully .

Forgiveness received awakens love for God.

Mary of Bethany annointed Jesus with an expensive oil not because of the fear of hell fire ,or condemnation and judgement ,but because He raised her brother(Lazarus) from the dead .
The mad man of gadarene wanted to be a disciple of Jesus because he was made whole

Therefore ,our love does not come first :It is a response to God's grace &working in Our lives .

I love Jesus more and more each day .I want to serve Him more .I'm drawn to Him ,not because of fear of judgement but because of the grace i've received. As i'm drawn to Him,sin loses its appeal

Okay, the adultress woman, why did jesus not allow the teachers of the law to stone her to death ? does it mean that jesus break the law ? No, He fulfilled the law for the woman, thus, she is save by Grace.

Jesus did not stop the people from stoning the woman neither did he say she was not deserving of being stoned to death rather he said 'let him who is without sin cast the first stone' in other words let him who is not deserving of death like this woman cast the first stone. Jesus simply gave that woman a second chance of which 3rd, 4th, 5th......... chances are still available to us today which is the definition of grace. Remember his last statement 'go and sin no more' pointing her back to the law, the law is what guides us, grace is our insurance that even though we may fall there is still hope of perfect restoration.
