But the housemates were not forced to be on the big brother house and the viewers were not forced to be glued to their TV. So the show can't be halted.

Why do you have to bring in churches and Mosques into this kind of discussion. There are over 170 million people in Nigeria and 4 million who we all know is made up of other African countries.

Besides, those that watch BBN may not watch it because of the SNL rating, but they feel there is something that benefit like art of communication, art of relationship and art of understanding friends. 1. No one forced you to switch to BBN channel, there are over 100 channels on DSTV including over 5 christian and muslim channels, pick one and let's hear word.

2. You can actually deactivate the BBN channel from your decoder if you do not want any of your household to watch when you are not around.

3. BBN is just entertainment. People have different tastes for entertainment. Same way some people dislike Nollywood films is the same way stay at home moms like Nollywood as their major source of entertainment. So pick your choice of entertainment and spare us the hypocritic rants.

4. It's all business. While you guys are masters at being hypocrites, DSTV is busy making money and packing it back to South Africa. Despite HiTV getting English football premiership rights some years ago, DSTV was still able to retain 90% of their customers by providing the right content for targeted audiences that same year. How did almighty Nigerian HiTv end?

You would have just stuck to your immorality and ponography defence or points. Why did you bring Pastors and Imams into this? Did they sponsor the program? No. Did they admonish their followers to watch the program? No.... and on and on.

Why all the wailing about big brother which is shown on cable TV. People pay good money every month subscribing to cable TV. People have a right to enjoy programmes they have paid for.
