Hello beautiful and handsome nairalanders, I have a little issue I need clarification about. Though I used to be a non believer of any religion from time immemorial. But of recent, a young pastor from one of the holiness preaching denominations in Nigeria approached me with beautiful words of God. I never gave it a second thought before I started attending this church. He laced his preaching with the threat of perishing in hell fire if I refuse to accept Jesus Christ as my lord and Savior. Fast-forward to my surprise, there was an announcement in our Parish that the daughter of the regional pastor would be wedding, I said congratulations to her and faced my business since I do not know her or her pastor father in person. .the following Sunday after the announcement, our parish pastor made it mandatory for all members to contribute #500 each towards the wedding. I became very annoyed initially but later paid. This singular act of this pastor has indeed clearly shown that religion is a huge joke. I think am going back to my good old days of unbelief. Is it normal that I contributed towards the weeding?
